The Staff Selection Commission has taken a decision to cancel the (Paper-I) (Afternoon Shift) of the MTS (Non-Technical) Examination 2016 held on 30th April 2017, because the said paper was found to be compromised. The re-examination for only those candidates who appeared in this shift will be held in due course and the candidates would be suitably informed accordingly. The inconvenience caused to the candidates is regretted.

केंद्रीय कार्मिक मंत्री जितेंद्र सिंह ने सदन में लिखित रूप से कहा है कि 2013 की तुलना में 2015 में केंद्र सरकार की सीधी भर्तियों में 89 फीसदी की कमी आई है। अनुसूचित जाति, जनजाति और अन्य पिछड़ी जातियों की भर्ती में 90 फीसदी की कमी आई है। 2013 में केंद्र सरकार में 1, 54,841 भर्तियां हुई थीं जो 2014 में कम होकर 1, 26, 261 हो गईं। मगर 2015 में भर्तियों की संख्या धड़ाम से कम हो जाती है। कितनी हो जाती है? सवा लाख से कम होकर करीब सोलह हज़ार। इतनी कमी तो तभी आ सकती है जब किसी ने स्पीड ब्रेक लगाया हो। 2015 में केंद्र सरकार में 15,877 लोग की सीधी नौकरियों पर रखे गए। 74 मंत्रालोयों और विभागों ने सरकार को बताया है कि अनुसूचित जाति, जनजाति और अन्य पिछड़ी जातियों की 2013 में 92,928 भर्तियां हुई थीं। 2014 में 72,077 भर्तियां हुईं। मगर 2015 में घटकर 8,436 रह गईं। नब्बे फीसदी गिरावट आई है।
केंद्र सरकार ने अपने मंत्रालयों और विभागों में भर्तियों की हकीकत तो बता दी है। इससे कम से कम एक सेक्टर में नौकरियों की स्थिति का पता तो चलता है। इसी तरह के आंकड़ें हम तमाम राज्य सरकारों से मिलें तो पता चल सकेगा कि नौकरियां न होने पर भी रोज़गार का मुद्दा न बनने का कमाल भारत में ही हो सकता है। नौकरियों में आरक्षण को लेकर यहां बहस है। मारपीट है। मगर नौकरियां ही नहीं हैं इसे लेकर कोई चिंता नहीं। ऐसी शानदार जवानी भारत के राजनीतिक दलों को मिली है। हाल ही में कस्बा पर ही टाइम्स आफ इंडिया की एक ख़बर की चतुराई पकड़ते हुए लिखा था। अखबार के अनुसार 2015-18 के बीच रेलवे का मैनपावर नहीं बढ़ेगा। रेलवे के मैनपावर की संख्या 13, 31, 433 लाख ही रहेगी। जबकि 1 जनवरी 2014 को यह संख्या पंद्रह लाख थी। करीब तीन लाख नौकरियां कम कर दी गई हैं। सातवें वेतन आयोग की साइट पर रेलवे की रिपोर्ट मिल जाएगी। 2006 से 2014 के बीच 90,629 हज़ार भर्तियां हुईं। केंद्र सरकार में भर्तियों के मामले में यूपीए का दस साल का रिकार्ड बहुत ख़राब है। अब जो नए आंकड़े आ रहे हैं वो उससे भी ख़राब है। मै पहले भी लिख चुका हूं कि अमरीका में एक लाख की आबादी पर केंद्रीय कर्मचारियों की संख्या 668 है। भारत में एक लाख की आबादी पर केंद्रीय कर्मचारियों की संख्या 138 है और यह भी कम होती जा रही है।
