This is the entire normalisation procedure--

Suppose a candidate is getting  65/100 and total no of candidates from that zone in that particular shitng are 28000 and his rank is 7000 in that particular sitting in that particular zone..hence after normalisation his score will be

(28000-7000/28000) × 100 = 75


Similarly suppose a candidate is scoring  70 in a particular sitting from a particular zone is ranked 10500 among 28000 who appeared in that particular sitting..then his score after normalisation will be

(28000-10500)/28000 × 100 = 62.5

so stage 1 is only qualifying in nature?

So after normalisation and considering that 15 times the vacancies will qualify for the next phase what can we say about the cutoff .. above 55 (general)??

Bhaiyo Jiske Bhi 50+ marks aa rahe hai wo CBT2 ki preparation start karde...................50 se kam wale normalization ke bad result ka wait kre...........

Guys i got 45.06 marks in CBT 1 and i belong to SC (RRB Secundrebad)...should i start preparing for CBT 2??

18000 vac 56 lakh people give exam .

Around  305 candidate for 1 vacancy .

Now they are taking 15 candidate for 1 vacancy . do u think those 285 or 290 candidates got less than 60 marks...

OVERALL CUT OFF WILL BE FOR UR CATEGORY  58 - 64 IN TIER I EXAM..THIS IS BASED ON PREVIOUS PRELIMINARY CBT EXAM LIKE ::: IBPS CLERK , IBPS PO, SBI CLERK , BIHAR COOPERATIVE BANK.

1. IBPS CLERK 2015 :: TOTAL CANDIDATES 35 lakh, but Preliminary cut off for UR was only -- 55/100 .. (TOTAL VACANICIES -- 26,000+)

2. IBPS PO 2015 :: TOTAL CANDIDATES 44 lakh, but Preliminary cut off for UR was only -- 37.50/100 ..(TOTAL VACANICIES -- 12,000+)

3. SBI CLERK 2016 :: TOTAL CANDIDATES 30 lakh, but Preliminary cut off for UR was only -- 51/100..(TOTAL VACANICIES -- 18,000)

4. BIHAR COOPERATIVE BANK 2016 :: TOTAL CANDIDATES 8 lakh, but Preliminary cut off for UR was only -- 61.25/100..(TOTAL VACANICIES -- 438)


    SO, don't be panic.. CUT off will be 58 - 64 for UR Category..
