There is no certainty but there is a good chance that exam will be conducted in second half of September or start of October. It will most probably take a month for the exam to be over. 

The biggest problem is that it will take a long time for them to release answer keys, take objections and release the results for tier 1. I think 6 months is the minimum we can expect.

Friends we should always be positive. The government is now under extreme presurre because of rising unemployment issues. I believe they would surely want to complete the "LONG AWAITED NTPC" recruitment process as soon as possible. They would complete everything by the end of March. So we must start preparing for the exam. I wish good luck to all of you.
