Funny question but still plz vote.
- Ha kardo waise bhi bekar ki cutoff aur reservation k alawa koi achha discussion nhi hota.
- Nahi kabhi kabhi jaruri information aa jati h.

Subah ki pehli Kiran, Ek naya vishwaas le kar aayi hai, Jaago mere doston, Padhne likhne ki ghadi aayi hai..
happy labour day... sare kaam wale aaj chutto pe hain aur hum bairojgar apne cutoff cutoff k kaam m busy hain
Rrb exam over ...... When result come out ??
FYI...
Normalisation is a percentile method , it has nothing to do with the marks that you are getting rather it depends on the rank that you acquire in your own shift completely independent of others.
Ex:
Suppose guy 1 gets 90 marks in an easy shift & let us suppose that the topper in his shift gets 95 ...therefore let us assume that his rank in his shift is 10.
Again guy2 gets 60 marks in a tough shift & let us suppose his shift's topper get 63 marks ....& let us assume that his rank in his shift is also 10.
Therefore the bottom line is that both have the same equipercentile marks.....
Now statistical methods will be implemented to derive at a concrete score ...therefore we se a huge deviation from the raw score of candidates.
So, kindly dont demoralize people saying that you wont get a job without scoring 70+ or something...its completely indepent of marks....even a 40+ guy has a even chance with 80+ guy if his shift was super tough.
Hope this makes sense.
Arey yaar ye exam h k loksabha election... Khtm b ho jaaa yaar....aur jaldii se response sheet aaa jaye.....itna hlla mcha diya h k 90 k confidence me tha ab lag rha h 50 b aa gye to sahi h... Sara confidence hi khtm ho gya h....
A continuation from the post below......all toppers or people with 100 percentile score in their respective shifts .....will have the same euipercentile score.
Now the question is how will you decide the normalized score.
The basic method is median.... Other methods may also implemented depending on RRB ....Cat takes the no of questions answered wrong also into consideration as will ...
Ex: Using basic method(method median)
Suppose we have 5 shifts:-
Shift 1 topper's score: 90 percentile 100.
Shift 2 topper's score: 85
Percentile 100.
Shift 3 topper's score: 82
Percentile 100.
Shift 4 toppers score: 80
Percentile 100.
Shift 5 topper score :75
Percentile 100.
From here we see that the median score is 82.
So, topper from shift 1 will have a decrease of 8 marks.
Topper from shift 5 will have a increase of 7 marks.
This just basic method lot of other factors are implemented such a no of wrong attempt ,mode etc.
Similarly marks of other candidates will be calculated using the same method.
So, kindly don't bother about others concentrate on your own.
In my admit card Name appear as a ( Father name surname my name). Is there any problem while in the time of exam ? . . While verification of admit card
Please share experience of 29 April 3rd shift exam. I found the GK very tough.Attempted 90 but 7 wrong attempt.
Dosto ek pic upload karni hai kese hogi sabka dought clear ho jayega
Look at this
Attention::
Since, RRB is providing different question sets for different shifts, it is practically impossible to have two question sets of the same difficulty level. That result in, some candidates will end up attempting a relatively easier set compared to another set of candidates. Therefore, this set of candidates who attempted an easier paper will have a higher average score compared to the set of candidates who attempted the difficult question paper.
Because of this variation in difficulty level of questions sets, RRB will normalize (equalize) the scores of aspirants on the basis of date and shifts across the country. So that, no candidate is at a disadvantage, just because he attempted a difficult set of questions.
This process of equating marks is called Normalization.
How Normalization is done in RRB NTPC Exam?
Before proceeding further, we fist need to know what are Raw score and Average score? Scroll down for info.
Raw Score: The initial stage of the calculation of the scores is by calculating the raw score. Raw score means the marks obtained in each section which is calculated by counting the correctly answered marks after applying penalty for wrong answers (1/3 marks). For example if a candidate attended 90 questions, out of which 15 are wrong, then the raw score will be 90-15-15x(1/3) = 75-15=70.
Average Score: Suppose 100 peoples appeared for a particular exam. There were 4 sets of question papers with different level of difficulties: Set A, Set B, Set C and Set D.
Suppose all candidates appeared in Set A question paper secured average marks of 60%, similarly in Set B 55%, Set C 70%, and in set D 65%. Now this variation in average marks is because of the difference in difficulty level of different Sets. Set B was the most difficult one that's why Average Marks in set B is only 55% whereas the set C was the easier one that's why candidates secured average of 70%. To make it to the same difficulty level they use a method called normalizing the marks.
Here the Average marks will be (60+55+70+65)/4 = 62.5. It means the 60% in set A, 55% in set B, 70% in set C and 65% in set D are equivalent to 62.5% in normalized marks.
Formula to Calculate RRB NTPC Normalization Marks:
1. Step: RRB will evaluate the papers of all aspirants appeared in the exam. The scores obtained by the candidates will be noted as Population of Raw scores. Let score of a Candidate is denoted by X.
2. Step: RRB will find out the average of all Raw scores (Mentioned above). Let it is denoted by Y.
3. Step: RRB will calculate the standard deviation of the scores. It is SD.
4. Step: RRB will calculate the normalized score of a Candidate using this formula. Let it is denoted by Z.
Z = X-Y/SD
Now Look at the example.
Suppose there were four shifts in an exam and difficulty level of four shifts were as follows;
Shift-1: Very easy
Shift-2: Very tough
Shift-3: Intermediate
Shift-4: Tough
Let A, B, C and D are the aspirants from these four shifts respectively. And out of 100 Marks they go got marks;
A scores 80 in shift-1
B scores 65 in shift-2
C scores 75 in shift-3
D scores 68 in shift-4
Now suppose the average score of all candidates from all shifts including A, B, C and D is 42 With standard deviation of the scores as 5.
Then Normalized scores (marks) of A, B, C and D will be as follows;
A = 80-42/5 = 7.6
B = 65-42/5 = 4.6
C = 75-42/5 = 6.6
D = 68-42/5 = 5.2
Can we predict the cut-offs?
NO..! There is no use asking about chances or predicting cut-offs. But there is a standard that you must score > 60%. However, it may increase or decrease depending upon the circumstances. You can also check
