If in one department total posts are 3 ( 2 UR and 1 OBC), now 2 UR seats will be occupied by top 2 candidates. Now merit wise 3rd candidate has OBC reservation, his first preference is that department itself, will he be alloted that 1 OBC seat or will he be given UR seat in the other department which was his next preference?
If OBC seat is alloted to him, then cutoff for OBC in that department will be high compared to UR of other department.
