Are space missions the right investment for our country's growth?, provided we stand third in the GDP ranking with approx 2000 billion USD yet with a humongous population of around 133 cr majority of which are still BPL. Other space nations have enough money in their coffers to channel it to expend it on curiosity. Even though chandrayan 2 costed comparatively less than other uncrewed moon landing missions, it might be a huge chunk for a nation like us. Especially when the output of the mission was to explore an uncharted territory in hopes to find alternate energy sources which requires extreme technology to retrieve from the moon. I respect the efforts ISRO has put in space exploration but they have to see the limits and seek investments with assured returns. Its hard to ignore that ISRO earned 5600 cr in 3 years but spent 7900 cr on the missions!.

Don't show ur frustration on isro mission chandrayaan 2.......first read it's complete mission and planning....u will feel proud to be an INDIAN...... always remember frnds only DEFENCE and SCIENCE in India can motivate u..... Whenever u feel low in life just read their any mission planning. Don't compare nasa and isro.... Just see how ISRO manage in this low funding.....
