Bhai mera 642.5 merit Index H rrb gkp OBC mechanical se. Mera only 3 post ka cut off clear hua hai. Usme se ek ki cut off mera merit Index H and dusre ki 641. Dms ki 2 seat pr cbt1 qualify hu uski cbt2 cut off 641 H. Mujhe kya jana chahiye dv me

Railway ka cut off ka criteria PTA karna bahut hi muskil hai......ab jaise for example....Chandigarh civil Mai design aur works ki equal seats hai ur ke lie......jab equal to cutoff alag alag Kyu.......agar seat ke 1.5 times liye hai hai to fir same bacha dono seats ke lie eligible hota... Par cbt 1 Mai cutoff Mai 5 marks ka difference tha..........isiliye rrb ki baate rrb hi Jane....

474 my score. 469 cutoff design drawing k (5 seats C1), 467 cutoff works k(5 seats B1) & 466 cutoff pway k (12 seats A3). Muje design drawing milega kya??? Cb1 & cbt2 all cleared with all posts.
Some posts have 1 or 2 vacancies and cutoff only around 625, I can't digest this fully. Where are 650-680 people? Or rrb has sth hidden??

Guys I have been preparing for GATE and ESE and other Assistant Engineer equivalent exams for more than 3 years now. My house is in Allahabad city and I cleared CBT 2 with 700 merit index. I will become je most likely near my home. But should I prepare for ssc je aur keep preparing for ESE and gate. I don't think ssc je will give me posting near my city. Ultimately I want to prepare for ESE untill it is cleared. I appeared for mains once. Should I drop ssc je ? Money is not a constraint for me. Self respect and economic independence are important to me. What should I do?

Post allotment prodeure... 1. Names will be sorted according to merit index in descending order. Highest merit will be rank 1... 2. Rank 1 candidate... His first option cbt 1 score n Medical std will be checked. ->If he cleared cbt 1 cutoff and medical std then post will be allotted if der is vacancy. ->If not cleared, next option cbt 1 score and medical std will be checked. ->If cleared cbt 1 cutoff n medical std then post will be allotted if der is vacancy... If not then next post preference will be checked... This process continues till he was allotted a post subject to vacancy, cbt 1 cutoff clearance n medical clearance... 3. After allotting rank 1, rank 2 preferences will be checked similarly like rank 1... And this process continues... 4. Now suppose der is some category 10 post which has only 10 vacancies and all 10 were filled by candidates with higher merit index... rank 'n' candidates preference checking... His first preference will be verified Suppose his first preference is not cleared in cbt 1 then if his next preference is category 10, since all d vacancies got filled up for that category, his next preference will be checked... ->If he clears subsequent posts cutoffs in cbt 1, clears medical STDs and subject to vacancy his allotment takes place... ->if he was not allotted any posts later after category 10 post then he will be kept under general waiting list with rank 1 (this waiting is for post allotment at later stages if der is any vacancy) and rank 1 in the post wise waitlist (this waiting list is to give waiting list cutoff) 5. Rank 'n+1'... Now his preference will be checked... ->If he cleared any posts cutoffs and satisfy required STDs then post will be allotted subject to vacancy... If not allotted any post due to lack of vacancy then he will be general waiting list rank 2 candidate... 6. Like this allotment continues... 7. For category 10 posts according to 1.5 rule der will be 10 mainlist and 5 waitlist candidates... Cutoffs will be marked after filling all vacancies...10th allotment will be mainlist cutoff and 5th candidate's mi in the post wise waiting list will be waiting list cutoff... Similarly main list and waiting list cutoffs for other posts will be given... 8. Suppose after joining if any candidate quits then vacancy table will be created and general waiting list rank 1 preference will be checked same like mainlist... After allotting someone his 'eligible post' his name will be removed from waiting list... 9. Suppose after 1st waiting list clearance if der is any vacancy then vacancy table will be created and allotment takes place from the new waiting list created after 1st waiting list allotment... This is how allotment takes place... If any corrections u can suggest... If I m wrong then tell me to delete the post...
