I don't understand why people are spreading so much negativity about ALP though I am not eligible for it but putting a neutral perspective. It seems as if they were roped in for this particular post. Some views are "mereko nhi chahiye" one will not get this unless u have proven ur ability with that mentality harsh fact is "melega hi nhi toh lega kaise" and also regarding preference one had freedom of choice while they were counting numbers with the preferences now don't want that first preference, if the decision was not firm at that time how can it be now(think) and with this doubtfulness one may end up regretting at later stages, for this reason, another candidate who really want this preferred post might not get a call. Every job has its own pros and cons it's up to a person how much of it is necessary for his/her satisfaction and how much immune they are for those cons. And also regarding some intellectual comments, boasting a particular job with all those accommodation in prime locations and other brownie points.
Every job is different so as its incentives one has the freedom to choose not mandatory to be one in every those lakhs or even crores of forms filled as one is wise enough to decern between the posts(incentive as a parameter) This is not to offend anyone, please don't take it personally.

For 13 lakhs candidates 65000 vacancies we feel high cut off and heavy competition. Then for 13000 vacancies RRB JE how could we expect level of competition.If we cant get Technician/ ALP in this level of competition then we should ignore RRB JE
