What about 2-1 shift?? I got exact 65 marks mechanical and obc category. What r the chances...RRB KOLKATA
SO ON ONE FROM JE SHIFT 27th AUGUST 2nd SET ARE GETTING SELECTED................IS IT TRUE ?
Chennai JE analysis
29th 1st- 16 selected in main list
29th 2nd- 16 in main
29th 3rd- 23 in main list
Now one thing is sure, JE shifts of 29th and 30th are much more tougher than those of 26,27,28
But most of the candidates had JE exam in first three days, very few had in 29th and 30th
So dat means, number of candidates in a shift doesn't matter
IMO two things matter
1) average score in your shift
2) your rank in your shift
So if you are scoring high rank in a shift with lower average score, you are at advantage.

Normalization question:
Total candidates=10000, total vacancies=100,
percentage of candidates to be selected=1%
Exam in 4 shifts. Different diff level, so normalization done.
I say that after normalization, approx 1% ppl from every shift will be selected. Am I right??

My frnd selected in Banglore. 58, 3-3 general, mechanical.
He is also selected in SSE-14, jammu. and JE-15, banglore
i dnt see much discussion about RRB Gorakhpur & RRB Allahabad though it had decent seats for JE ans SE. all are mad behind secundrabad..
how much will be the cut off for UR,Obc.. for gorakhpur (JE)& allahabad..(SE)...

After Seeing so many surveys and analysis on this forum,I think that here are some really good analysing guys but still we can't say about the cut-off of 01/2015 as it was for 02/2014.last year it was predictable but this time so much bewilderment.so wait wait and wait for results as anyone can have surprises in this NEW YEAR.BTW all the best to every puy expecting selection.may god bless u all..
