The concerned Divisional Personnel Officer of SOUTHERN RAILWAY will be addressing you with the offer of appointment in due course. However, in case you do not receive any intimation during the next 10 months, you may contact the Deputy Chief Personnel Officer (HQ & Welfare), Office of the CPO, SOUTHERN RAILWAY Headquarters, CHENNAI either through a letter or in person to apprise yourself of the position."
I completed my DV on may3 I am selected in carriage and wagon I have eye sight 2.75 is this problem to medical test please tell me bro
Unfortunately my document verification for JE(rrb kolkata) and IBPS clerk both fell on the same date...If I attend the rrb verification on the block date(which is 1 month later) will they consider this reason to be good enough for not attending the dv on my scheduled date or will that create a bad impression while appointment...

in the result of all the RRB's , they have selected more than the vacancies if everybody comes for verification then everyone will get joining or not?
How come there is a lot fuss about only sse telecom,signalling and civil groups ???( jus kidding ) Where are all the mechanical selected guys ??? Any idea about work profile of "mechanical workshops" sse experts plz do shed some light on incentives,extra incomes ,timings ,worktension,scope of promotion of mechanical workshops.

Hii guys, it's been a long time since I last posted on PG, Was talking to few Railway employees regarding deputation opportunities for SSE in the future, don't worry, the response is quite positive, Though deputation opportunities vary from zone to zone, if you are strong in your core work and are technically sound, you will have ample scope for deputation. Pway, works, bridge, signal, TRD probably have the best deputation opportunities One more thing, our btech branch also matters during shortlisting candidates for deputation, for example, if an ECE candidate is in mechanical workshop, he will be at disadvantage, so people who are in the core of their branch like me(ECE in signal) , will have advantage. Workshop and drawing profiles have minimal scope for deputations. Today I received the selection letter from RRB Chandigarh (CEN-01/2015) and they have mentioned to contact "Chief Staff & Welfare Inspector, Northern Railway, Personnel branch, Room No.-345, Head Quarter office, Baroda House, New Delhi-110001". What will the further procedure after that and how long it will take for the final joining?

I see u have railway background ( correct me if iam wrong) good knowledge or good contacts with railways officer and perssonels . why dont you please get in touch with any of the officers and clarify the misconceptions regarding medicals .canditates are majorly concerened with 1.A-3standrads do they really comply with those standards strictly ( eyesight mainly the limit of 2d is strictly followed or is there a scope for consideration depending on department )2. Lasik surgery issue .plz do help bhai you might help us to cool down a bit and decrease our bp levels
