too much confusion on normalization of 1-3 shift..in given scenario all normalized marks are verified,and actuals are claimed by candidates,all are non civil
..
1. 71 actual,82.38 normalized
2.70 actual 73.035 normalized
3. 63.33 actual,72.64 normalized,
what is going on,can anyone explain?

Marks according to rrb response key 74.33 ur 3-2 shift EE branch got 270th rank with 72.96 normalized marks not selected. Bad day......

Need valuable suggestions... I got provisional department as TRS (SCR)...It was my first choice...as my rank is 38 so this department will be final I think.... While filling form i didn't know about any departments..... Can anybody tell me which department is good for core electrical guy? TRS or any other?? #feelingconfuse

That guy @amitvai is correct branchwise normalization is there. Otherwise how @abhilashsahoo91 (RRB SEC 1-2 UR ECE) got only 6/7 marks increment by normalization whereas @surendrakumar69 (RRB SEC 1-2 OBC MECH) got 13 marks increment by normalization ?!
