CAT 2014 details announced!! Key details available so far: Exam on 16th & 22nd Nov, 170 minutes, 2 sections (QA + DI & VA + LR) of 50 Qs each, No individual timings for sections. Waiting for the notification tomorrow for more clarity First Thoughts: ~ More time for the students to prepare - about a month added for prep (compared to the October window for earlier CATs) ~ Students to score more from their areas of strength as they can allocate more time there if required. The entire paper is available at any time now against the individually timed sections in earlier CATs ~ No rush to book slots as the slots will be allocated based on the city preference. One less aspect to worry about. ~ No. of test cities up to 99 from 40. Travel hassle cut down for many students. Another hassle off the list. ~ Results in the 3rd week of December would mean more time to prepare for the 2nd phase, provided the IIMs don't advance the GWPI dates All the best!
