- I do not see a single reason to give him a Bharat Ratna. The honor is for the person who did good and extreme for India and for people of world. 
- Give me single reason for a person who is making money all out his life through cricket. Doing all commercials.
- He was removed by air force to whom he(service) has accepted to serve but then dint even reply for duty. :neutral:
- He was not a match winner sports person like Brian lara, viv richards.
- The reason to give him such honor is just he is polite person, down to earth guy....no doubt he has got a great manners in himself.But that is not the reason to give him such award because he is your favourite personality. :neutral:
If it is that he has given a speech which touch millions of heart... tell me and ask yourself.... what he has done for a country.... did he ever help poor.... did he ever get interested in our country's progress..... JUST playing cricket ?????.....he is selfish as well...he play for achievements... he might be hero for the people who are crazy to watch him doing batting... he is just doing his hobby... playing cricket what else he has done.
Me 2 watch his highlights in my mobile.. but thats just sports and for fun... he played nice cricket.... but i do not see a single reason to give him such honor... there are lots other who are doing better things and struggling for other people (not making money) ......
That is the real work which u do for others..... that person deserves Bharat Ratna....
person who devotes his/her life for others fight for others.... not looking for his own life....
is real bharat ratna... not who plays cricket from morning to night...
There are lots of other people if sports is counted.... like Dhyanchand in hockey, Vishwanath anand in chess... many other unknown names are there who deserves(if u r giving Ratna to sports person) it... but as we used to say....
