Raat(=here, last night) purwai ne us ko bhi jagaya hoga,
Raat(=last night) kyun kat na saki raat (=here, night) samajhta hi nahin;
Shaeri ka koi andaz samajhta hai inhen,
Wo mohabbat ki riwayat samajhta hi nahin. (He thinks these lines are just poetry, he doesn't understand that these are tales and tradition of love.)
