Room locked.. No office.. Bags ready..! Yeah that's peaceful.
This morning.. I were walking on the road, needed a taxy for my way to home. Special feeling.. about twice a month.. And guess what? the traffic was jammed.. So, I skimmed a shop nearby.. got myself a water bottle, and started looking around.. Smiling and searching.. To my surprise, amid all that rush.. I saw a small birdy untouched by the surroundings.. sitting on that jammed path. It wasn't moving much, so I thought of checking if it was okay and able to fly.. I took some time.. Looked around.. and moved my feet near it. And yes.. it moved. I tried again.. and it moved again.. Now I were sure that it can move, and is okay. I turned my back, and walked away. Luckily.. got a taxy nearby.. then suddenly the jamm got cleared.. The vehicle was running.. and I were hopefully looking for the bird on the way.. Finally.. right from the front window I saw it... Still sitting on the main road. I turned my head and tried to look from back window this time. When I got a proper glance.. My smile was gone. I realized the bird was dead, some vehicle ran over it under those 2 mins. It was a painful sight.. That pinched right into the heart. Felt like may be I could save that innocent. And I kept thinking this all along the journey..
There is something I've known for a long time. Just that I failed to act..
