Facebook is blatantly misguiding people and wants to violate Net Neutrality, yet I'm writing this post on Facebook. Yet we all are using Facebook. Not easy to get off eh?
Google is minting money with our data, yet we'll be using their search engine, services and I guess their mobile operating system as well. Still not easy to stop using their products eh?
It's not easy to break off from chains. Most people simply do not care. The society will always have some or the other sort of structure where the privileged exploit the non-privileged. If given a chance everybody will love to dictate terms of others' lives. Most people simply don't care about fighting back.

Free Basics a zero-rating platform itself violates net neutrality, and in Facebook's specific case, whether even the supposed good intentions of a free platform meant for the underprivileged in developing nations can lead to real benefits, or whether the cons of a limited access platform outweigh them.
Monopoly is the condition of every successful business, and Facebook stands to win big over its competitors if Free Basics is allowed to operate in India in its current form.
