I am really int in pursuing a career in retail from BIMTECH....I have got 87%tile in MAT. Can you tell me what are my chances in getting into BIMTECH? I have applied to BIMTECH but still haven't got any sort of reply. I tried calling them up but the lines are always busy. Neither are my results showing online. RESULT: getting really anxious bout me getting sellected... Can the seniors plsssssss do a favour and check the status.

u can expect a call at 87 %le in mat..
and also at 69 %le in cat..
but to convert u really need to proove urself..

i got 94 % in MAT (dec '07). want to go for BIMTECH.
my graduation (b.tech) percentage is 66%
but
my 12th percentage is not good, 50%. can u ppl plz tell, will it affect my chance of getting in bimtech.

Hi, I am Pulkit Saraf from the 2006 batch. Its great to see you people still interested in Retail. Bimtech is a good choice and so is the retail field. currently this industry is hit hard by the recession, but that might not be the case after wards.
I really do not have much idea about the current salary and the placements. but our batch got 100% placement. I am sure the scenario might not be so great this year.
Will get back to you on the figures asap..
