Fin Mangmt 'or' Economics. You're going for which option?
has the RBI done away with NOC requirement this time?
there is not mention of the word NOC in notification ,which was the case in earlier notifications. RBI has only asked for an undertaking to be signed that we have informed our department.
I'm highly disappointed that the Educational Qualification Criteria has not changed. My mind is still trying to grasp the concept behind the Β 60% marks Β in 10th and 12th , which has nothing to do with this paper (in some cases UG too). People may say that there are better jobs out there and blah blah blah ...but here is the thing, many of them have been preparing for this exam and had high hopes and aspirations and RBI had just crushed them. All those e-mail and pleas of aspirants meant nothing to RBI.
It's like Campus Placements all over again. You sit at the side bench and watch the rest of your mates get placed and celebrate. All the while you sulk at the corner and berate yourself and thinking what went wrong... "Oh, Yeah! I didn't studied hard enough for Chemistry."Β
Or maybe it's high time that we make 60% as passing marks rather than 40% or 33%. At least then a student will try and try to get equal with everyone and will have a fair chance and opportunity.
let me know, anyone planning to file PIL
What is the structure of current affairs and economy(dynamic) section Β of rbi phase 1 exam? Is it compulsory to go through last 12 months current section like upsc civil services exam?

My name is RBI Grade B Notification and I do what I do!! π
I have made the final submission of application but important editing is required. Shall I re-apply?
If i opt for Economy as in Paper 3 of Phase 2, it's mean they ask Questions only from economy or they can ask questions from all like Finance and Management or Economics or Statistics. Please guide and please suggest what should i choose from these 3.
Ohkkk..
Here is the deal !.Β U need more than 60% in 10th, 12th & Grad to be eligible for RBI.
If u dont have the qualifications(Read marks), U cant apply.
Every employer has the right to decide the criteria/qualifications for recruitment & it isnt fair on our part to criticize them. We arent eligible for Google/Mckinsey too π (U cant force an engineering co. to hire an arts graduate or vice versa, the logic applies to marks as well. Though marks are not the most effective way to judge ability, it is probably the best proxy we have for the purpose)
Now, guys with less than 60%, u hav got 2 options:
1. Hem, haw, crib, put up posts on fb (Feeling Sad, Feeling angry, blah blah) request other people to file PILs, Bring forward stories of ppl who cracked iit/iim/ias with less than 60% marks. Blame the system (Bcoz pura system hi kharab hai !!) but mark my words "NOTHING IS GONNA CHANGE".
Now that brings me to the other option:
2. Start looking for other opportunities, put in your absolute best. Crack an exam, get a job, perform well there, grow (U might look for better opportunities too), Have a fledging career, then look back at this moment & recall how trivial this 60% criteria was in the scope of your life.
The ocean is full of life, there isnt nessecarily just one "Moby ****"
Go ahead, choose one of the two options, but do choose wisely π
Cheers π
How are they gonna distribute 200 marks b/w the 4 sections? Last time it was 80qs for ga, right?
For those who are left with 2 or 3 attempts ,do watch this year exam and then go for it with full preparation...don't waste the attempt thinking that phase 2 is online now...I am left with 3 attempts and will go for next time...How many of you are agree with me?
ANyone simultaneously preparing for upsc mains and rbi grade b?
For people already working with public sector/ commercial banks: One part of the application asks us if we have worked with PSBs and if yes, how many years (excluding probation)? Now for those of us who've joined PSBs in last 1 year and are thus obviously in probation, should we select yes there? And if yes what to mention as no. of years of experience since they have asked not to count probation?
plz tell me is the satisfaction academy by das sir kolkata materia for phase 2 l is good or not.
Total no of seats :134 out of which 4 are for ph.
Sc seats : 15% of 130 =20
So why there are only 15 seats available?π±
Respested Sir/Madam,
With due regards, This Mail is to state the reason that why change in eligibility criteria with regard to educational qualification for RBI Grade B exam is unjustified.
1) Different States have different educational and regulatory system which makes difficult for students belonging to states which have strong regulatory process to score above 60% in 10th,12th and Graduation.
2) Potential of candidates to compete in competitive exams cannot be judged by his previous performance in school and college days considering there can be numerous reasons for his low Percentage.
Thanking you for going through my mail, I request you on my and other aspirants behalf to please provide relaxation in educational qualification so that we can compete in free and fair manner.
Yours Faithfully,
RBI Aspirant
Are there candidates like me here from general category who gave the exam last year or earlier but are not eligible now
