One person has done bachelor in Fashion design with 77% and 10th 61%, 12th arts 63% is eligible for RBI Grade B exam .
Other person 81% 10th, 12th science 59%, IIT grad 67% not eligible for the RBI Grade B exam.
Another person 10th 89%, 12th science 55%, Grad 65 %, MBA from IIM 70% is not eligible .

Guys, will the papers on economic and social issues and the optional subject, be objective in nature? With four or five choices available for each question.
Here for RBI what is the criteria of 60 % in +2? Here 60 % in +2 marks is counted on extra optional subject or not?Like Biology is extra optional for PCM ( physics ,chemistry,Mathe) combination .
SO 60% is counted by marks of PCM only or all subjects like PCM & biology?
NB- I know 60 % is counted on all subjects like PCM B with Biology as extra optional for % calculation.But i am asking for RBI eligibility purpose as they changed the criteria this time.

Hi everyone, I have one question which many of them might be having in their minds. Which Optional paper to opt for in Phase II examination.
I am an MBA Graduate with specialization in Finance and Marketing. I am currently working for a PSB since 2 yrs.
Choosing Finance and Management is a clear option in such a scenario but there are minor difficulties...I had finance specialization but I still fear few major topics like derivatives, bonds, and on...which I couldn't get a grip on till date.
Secondly, I am interested in economics but I haven't studied it till date except for a few basic topics in MBA.
Now, I am unable to decide between the 2 topics. I just need to clear the exam without any glitches.
Guys please help me out.

Those unemployed friends who are having less than 60% in class 1 to graduation and preparing for Banking service, a big SETBACK for them.
RBI in it's 19/08/15 notification changed the eligibility criteria for RBI Grade B as follows:
10th >=60%
12th>=60%
Grad>=60% (even 59.9999 is not eligible)
I am genuinely afraid that if such interim notification wouldn't changed in it's final notification for RBI Grade B on 05/10/15 (expected date) as demanded by aspirants, there is likelihood of other nationalised banks to follow the same criteria in line with RBI, as their role model.
Few says that they have the liberty to make such changes according to their will.
Therefore it may so happens that other employers including banks, out for their right may go to the extent class 1 marks also.
So very soon you are going to be ineligible for bank service in the future date.
And you have no option but to choose for unemployment or think for alternative remedy.
Please suggest......
