Are NCERT books sufficient for all subjects? As it is written in the syllabus that paper will be of basic in nature..
hello my dear competitors , i hope you all re eagerly waiting for RBI grade B notification to come out. As you already know RBI GRADE B is one of the coveted job in government sector, let us start serious studies for it. I would like to share my mistakes which i committed during NABARD phase 2 preparation.
1. searched a lot about the job profile and salary as i was new at that time in banking field. Finally i concluded what i assumed previously that NABARD JOB is far better than any bank Po job, even though i looked for the same on net and wasted a hell lot of time.
LESSON: Don't surf for job profile of rbi , bliv me at last ur tym will get wasted and conclusion will be same. 😄
2. Started serious preparation after getting admit card and gone thru phase 1, which was just the SCREENING TEST, the real battle was approaching like a bullet train towards me i.e phase 2 mains.
LESSON: dont wait for right time to come, i used to say it will come one day and so result will also come along the way. Bt if u loose today ur result will have some effect of today.
3.Soon the admit card came and phase 2 was on april 12th,15. I surfed net thoroughly and got some idea about the syllabus. Even the craze was so much to qualify it that i studied in hotel for 5-6hrs in delhi as the phase was conducted in metros only.
LESSON: IF u have willingness, even you can stdy anywehere and can cover ur syllabus
4. FInally, i was not in the final list 😃 but i was not sad as i fall short of 15 mrks. The cutoff was 112 for phase 2 for general.
I knw it is very easy to preach someone bt hard to follow, bt i really want some serious posts in this thread. I bilieve that now THE MCQ type pattern is solely based on ur concept. BETTER YOUR concepts better chances of selection. there are many intellects on pagalguy m nothing in cmparsion to them bt m willing to b smething on my own.

Joined PG today as it came highly recommended by one of my senior. But I am disappointed to see lack of seriousness in these forums regarding actual preparations. Some are here to campaign for changing exam criteria, others are still wondering whether to buy Dutt Sundaram or Uma Kapila.
I suggest that we start another group here or at Mark Zuckerberg's place and post only questions on that group. For e.g. if I am reading Uma Kapila, I could frame questions from it as I read and post it on the group. There are coaching centers like ragade das etc. who do the same thing and charge 9000/-. Even if 100 serious people join the group and post just 2 questions per day, we will have practiced more than 12000 MCQs before D-day! And free of cost repository of MCQs from across different books (assuming different people will read different books at a time.)
If someone has already started such a question-only group pls let me know. Otherwise I'll do it if enough people show interest in comments.
