Is coaching required to start preparations for RBI Grade B? If yes then good coaching centres in Mumbai?
I am targetting the grade b exam for next year. So how should I start prep now? On which things should I focus daily n what material to be referred ?

Can anybody tell me what is the current salary (In-hand & Gross salary) of a Rbi grade b officer? I heard the 10th Bipartite settlement is coming into effect. So what the salary will be after this revision?
Will there be a GRADE B recruitment this year i.e. 2015? Notification seems long overdue.
I am an IT specialist officer in a Pub sector Bank.. Wish to go for Grade B. Haven't started anything concrete yet.. but I news papers(ET), regularly.. As I'm from egg background.. economics doesn't come easy to me... Will have to study beyond Office timings..

Umm can anyone tell me what are the growth prospects after this Assistant? I mean the salary isn't that handsome right?
Is the level of RBI Grade B Phase I comparable to SBI PO? How about RBI Assistant?
The quant section of SBI has predominantly been occupied by DI, so apart from that, how the other sections of both the exams fair in comparison?
I'm looking for only a rough estimate as I am already preparing for SBI PO I would like to see where I stand at Grade B prep level.
EDIT: If I'm not mistaken, marks scored in Phase I is not taken in to account while calculating the final cut off, right?

I would like to give thanks and my appreciation for creators of this discussion group. I am planning to give RBI grade B exams this year (2015) and have been reading all the posts since few days.
I would like to ask a doubt.. I am a M.Tech Mechanical (CAD/CAM) post-grad.. will i be able to do enough preparation in these 1 and half months for RBI grade B. Though my father was a banker and sister a M.Com student so i dont have any difficulty in learning banking and Economics and also i ain't working right now so i have loads of time.

Hii friends.. heard from a friend who is working in rbi that rbi is not going to conduct grade b exam this year.. Is it correct???
