I am completely new here..what to study for economy section of phase1..what is the time gap btw phase1 and phase2?
Finance & Management phase 2 paper seems to follow a pattern with certain questions repeating up. I am preparing notes for them based on previous year questions and commonly repeated questions from magazines and internet. I can share with you in case anyone of you want.
PS: I am facing problems with economic & social issues paper. Does anyone have any strategy or study plan for it? Or if anyone can volunteer for it.

is there any scope of waiting list as the current crop of grade b will join in jun 2015........what could be the cutt off marks for that

I read some queries on this thread regarding postal coaching for RBI.I think the most authentic one will be Kalinga IAS postal coaching .Though I myself did not take the coaching last year,but I had read positive reviews on Kalinga's RBI postal materials in a few other forums.I plan to take the coaching this year.One more thing,in case you are thinking about buying Kalinga postal notes,do not blame me if the materials are not upto the mark 😃 As I said I am also on the same boat as you are on Kalinga.On another query regarding reading economics for phase 2,I would suggest that you wait for the 7th edition of Ramesh Singh's Indian economy book (which is round the corner) .The questions asked in RBI mains eco match well with the theory of Ramesh Singh.In case RBI notification comes before Ramesh SIngh's 7th edition,then start preparing with the 6th edition.ON the point of joining test series,I dont think they will help much,as RBI mains has till now asked straight and direct questions only and gives you ample time to write answers properly.Hence building a strong preparation of subjects will be sufficient .Moreover test series might confuse or scare you by giving random unrelated questions which do not match the pattern.Even if you take up a test series,be sure about the quality.For me ,Mrunal's suggestions are better than any test series 😃 But if the RBI officers claim that they will leak the paper beforehand through their test series,then its a different issue :)
Guys help me i am preparing for grade b
Just given my graduation exam last month ,my agrregate marks till 5th sem more than 75% and waiting for my results. ..if notifications for grade b comes before my final result should i apply with 75% marks (agrregate % till 5th sem)??
One senior banking faculty suggested if notification comes before my graduation result then apply with 75% (as i fall under PWD category so min 50% need to apply )

Just come to know yesterday RBi announced interview schedule for grade b technical-civil post download list from website
Interview date 29 may and i think it will take mid june to complete assistant manager recruitment ...hope so in june end or jully first week grade b general notifications will appear ..

It seems many are very eager about notification but the point is it's better we prepare as in any case core for the recruitment of grade b(general) won't change only there will be some modification in the process as they are planning to integrate the whole process by having a common phase-1(similar to what NABARD) has done or at least this is what I think
In any case there won't be much Change in the syllabus so as long as one is following that be assured that you're going in the right direction
So instead of waiting we should buckle up for preparation
