Guys from Chennai and Tamil Nadu plz mail RBI to postpone the exam in TN. I was just rescued from the floods. Was stranded in my house without electricity and water to drink for 4 days. I just mailed them from the contact us option in the RBI website.
@puys...can u all pls solve my dilemma...m presently working in a maharatna PSU(6 day working mfg. unit)..preparing for civils...cleared pre this time..have applied for this exam as well..I donno...wether switching to a lower salary band with 7th pay commision coming up would fruitful or not...so basically at present which is better RBI or a Mahratna PSU?

Puys..I hv taken mocks upto PM-4 only as I was not feeling well and had to prepare for rrb po interview as well..so those who have taken PM tests pls suggest me any of the two PM tests which have good level of difficulty and I must take in the coming days??
Puys..i had attempted PM tests (5 test package).how can i get upgrade more tests?
After ramming my head into mocks of OB and PM and not able to clear PM cutoffs by good 10-12 marks margin a question hit my mind. How the hell do cutoffs in RBI Gr 'B' go so high? Well the people who take cutoffs so high in RBI is UPSC public, who have a massive grip on GA section. Thats why the cutoff on GA section alone was in 30s last year, when the overall cutoffs had dropped to 104.Mind it, it was a really tough paper last year. It can't get tougher than that.
I score about 80 in aptitude(fair enough) and just 30 in GA, totalling 110, when the cutoffs are about 120. The gap is GA setion alone.
So, brace for cutoffs upwards of 105 folks, and roll up your sleeves as UPSC guys are coming for your blood. They surely have better GA, but you can defeat them by your aptitutede(Eng/Quant/LR) and your power capsules.

Just appeared in PM RBI Phase 2 Eco paper. only 41 have taken the test. Ranked 3rd with a score of 54.25 ( A-93, R-62, W-31). The topper scores 66. But I am sure an Eco guy can easily score 80-90.
