u people will laugh at me.in 2009 i was not wearing tie and rbi board took iy literally very serious.even they told me when i was leaving room.'dont u think u should wear a tie.
i guess 20-25 marks in inteview is avg....though last year i got only 13
i have an quary.whether same board took the interview
i mean at all centre same board
@kali4 one of my fren gt through with 3 marks in interview last year, even he wasnt wearing a tie, but later he regretted for taking the interview ligthly. he made it through coz he had decent marks in his mains. so i guess weightage is definitely in ur main marks....interview is just an add on.

@4RBIONLY yah.but issue is that interview can play deciding role.and there r only some exception like ur frnd who answer the paper as like examining the examiner and getting superb marks.
@lalo pub ad and agriculture.not prepared 4 upsc but just clearing prelims due to gd performance in apptitude paper
@kali4 yes it might be...but his interview went hopelessly wrong...he had given up after facing the board...but lady luck smiled upon him.

age is on high side uar.31.BC so allowed to right mains.have one more attempt and will sure right this civil service exam as its more an pshychological drugs.for me being an villager and part of power hunger mentality
same board takes interview at all the place thats y so much time
