Q were more open ended and they asked for analysis like if CRR becomes zero then analyse from diff angles, on MSFR, how economy changed after 2000, some ratios of banks(related to balance sheet)
How RBI takes care of banks, how RBI directs their functioning and day to day activities.
US-China economic activities, should india explore more oil markets, how where challenges etc, what is butterfly spread, what is appropriation bill...
Why u left lucrative private sector job? roles n responsibilities there...
-> they gave ample time nd leads if u get stuck
-> you hv to b attentive as they tweaked qs very smartly nd in the spot analysis was needed.
-> very supportive staff,printed the tickets also 😃 if u claim reimbursemnt...

download the previous notification and and the syllabus. then start preparing exhaustively for the first round with certain basics of the second
phase 1: tests quant, LR, english n GK. buy 2-3 books i.e. 1 for each. u can have by any of good ones lyk arun sharma , r s agarwal etc. also if u can read e-books r s agarwal's freely available on net. supplement this with reading of either hindu of indian express. with an additional monthly magazine for current affairs like PD, chronicle,wizard etc. and if you snt have economics/commerce/MBA background do basic reading of NCERTs economics of classs 11 and 12. no mathematical details only concepts.
phase 2: here total 3 papers, paper 1 is english which tests comprehension ability, essay,precise etc. any basicc english book would suffice. paper 2 for social and economic issues. here if you can read e-books the nu can go for MA economics notes of IGNOU available free on net. else economy book by dutt and sundaram is the best paper 3: finance and management- part will be covered by dutt and sundaram. and part by book titled "organization behaviour " by Stephen robbins. here also if u r comfirtable with e-book get ignou books. i can send the links if you require.
phase 3: personal interview
hope procedure is clear. and notification not out yet. all are wating for it.

@bonnydushyant- thanks a lot for the suggestions bro..even i'm preparing the same way you mentioned above..however i read ToI and ET ..hope thats okay...and regarding second phase i'm thinking to prepare after i manage to clear phase 1..hope i'll get sufficient time.

puys any news of RBI Grade B notification this year, i did not c;ear the prelims last year as i got selected in IOB as PO and m working in it, should i start preparing for prelims and mains, notification not out still.

TOI and ET are absolutely fine. no prblm at all. and if you think after seeing question papers and syllabus that you can prepare in between 1st and 2nd phase, then you should go like that. good luck
