Please DO NOT take your economics paper preparation lightly.
This is not just a paper for 100 mks, it would influence a couple of other things, for instance your english paper may contain an essay on analysing an economic issue where you may be forced into an argumentative stance. The better your eco fundas, the stronger and more logical your arguments.
Economics would help you while in the interview as well as you will be quizzed on the current economy, and believe me those interviewers will grind you down if they know you're fibbing.
Don't rely on too many books for the eco prep, the NCERT/CBSE 11th and 12th books should be fine, alongwith a thorough reading of Economic Times daily

Hey, Check RBI website. Hall ticket is available online. U need to take printout of the same.
NOTE: Online hall tickets are available of Assistants & not of Grade B Officers Phase II exam.
