I just wanted to know the career aspects of being in RBI.
What are the growth aspects of job in RBI ?
Also, if someone wants to do a switch after working for some years in RBI, what are the chanes ?

Its 1st class...and if ur university provides 1st class at below 60 then too u must have 60%... its 1st class and 60%

Pass subjects , english papers etc are only for passing
PSU banks have mentioned aggregate of all so clear idea but RBI has not mentioned aggregate

if ur university has mentioned that u have 60%+(by calculating hons subjects) then its ok otherwise by default it will be aggregate...
when is the next RBI exam going to happen????

when is the phase 2 exam ?
RBI recruits about 20-25 candidates from the Top B schools like IIMs , FMS , XLRI etc. From this year onwards they would be visiting even more no. of campuses....I happen to know this bcos I am currently studying at one of the above mentioned colleges.....
please prescribe any good and non-voluminous book which covers the syllabus of finance and management paper of rbi phase 2.
Last year i got a dismal 36 in this paper.Had i prepared and scored better in this paper i woula have easily qualified for the interview.I can manage the finance portion just tell me where to read abt the management practices.Last year i wrote the answers of the management papers solely on the knowledge which i gained during my last semester paper in btech abt some management skills.

Some of my friends from IIM-Rohtak and FMS told me about RBI...err..about the fact that RBI was there in their campus.....//

the fact that rbi visits fms campus is mentioned in their placement report...and it describes that even students having placement offers in big daddy's of investment banking opt for rbi.
I dont think that anyone would have a doubt on the fact that getting selected in RBI is no lesser than getting selected in civil services exam.
However, because of ur MBA, u might have a little advantage in Finance paper. The rest is common for all.
