Someone please clear my doubt. It's my dream to work as an officer in RBI. But for Grade B, they need 1st class graduate which I'm not but I do have one year PGDM. Am I still eligible for Grade B or do I need to go for a full 2-year MBA course to be eligible ?
And also, the diploma I have is through distance learning. Please someone help me out with this. I'll be grateful.

@Hopes123 hey man congratulations. your interview marks are really good. rarely do people get anywhere near 30. could u pls kindly share your interview experience so that the rest of us could figure out where we went wrong. I, for example, got only 10. my interview went for 20 mins and questions were asked from my work ex and educational background (economics & international business) and i guess i had answered all questions satisfactorily until the results came out. Had i got 20 i would have cleared the cutoff. but enough about me... Kindly share your interview experience! and if others want to share their experiences too, it would be really appreciated.

Could not qualify for interview this time as the cut off was 170. Will try again.

Questions were mainly based on-
1) Nature of job(in detail)
2) Eurozone problem(especially my views)
3) Current problems in Indian Economy regarding Current A/c Deficit, BoP favourable or not with reasons, measures needed, etc.
4) Educational background(Commerce)
5) Banking structure of our country, Priority Sector Lending, etc.
6) About RBI, its role, various reserve ratios and their impact.
As far as i remember i answered them everything except 1 or 2 questions....& yes don't worry as there is always a next try..give your best then.

I got 49 in ESI and 48 in FMG and 58 in English.
I read Dutt and Sundharam for Economics and L.N Prasad for management, rest I read The Hindu and PD.
