I am sharing you my interview experience, What marks will you give to this interview...
I entered room with a smile and said, Good afternoon maam, good afternoon sir.
The chairperson asked me to sit, I said thank you and sat.
The panel member started so sagar, you graduated in 2017, what were you doing in these 2 years...
I said i appered in last ibps po interview but was'nt able to make into merit list...(Chairperson just checked my application)...then i swiching my face over other panel members continued saying that..I even cleared IDBI AM PGDBF but I did not join it because i was sure that i will clear IBPS PO MAINS, i was selected in south india bank clerk also but I did not join it because in the offer letter it was mentioned that we have to submit our original docs with the bank upto the bond period...
2nd Panel member told me.."you took a wise decision"
again the centre panel member asked me Sagar as you are a commerce graduate you would understand budget more effectively...
I with full confidence and politeness Said..Yes sir being a commerce graduate help me to understand the speech more effectively as i understand certain jagrons easily.
Then HE asked me so , tell us how was the budget, How helpful it would be for the slowing economy..
I asnwered, {keeping in mind that i should not criticise}, sir the budget met the expectations as it has tried to increase the investment and reduced the tax rates so that overall demand can increase...i also discussed about the infrastructure funding of 102 lakh crore{oops not a part of budget speech}...
The chairperson seems dissatisfied..
Now the 3rd panel member asked me Sagar tell us apart from NPA what are the other challenges bank are facing...
I took a pause and said...Sir frauds..Panel member immediately said...No it is very small part, anything else..I said one my friend is in bank he told me about shortage of man power requirement...and lastly I said competition with the private sector banks. One panelist seemed satisfied but the other was like...no no tell us some financial problems..
I took a pause but i did not get nervous..But to my luck the 3rd panel meber said...ok let it be.
Now the main panel member asked ...tell us how the profit in profit in loss account treated in balancesheet, and where do we show contingent liability in the balancesheet.
I with confidence said...sir profit is transferred to liability side in revenue and contingent liability are not shown in balncesheet they are shown as a note.
Then he asked me where do we show loss in balancsheet....
i got little nervous and said in provision( A big blunder,, it is just deducted from revenue)...
he said are you sure provison...i siad sorry sir i am confused.
then he agian asked me just tell me the 5 function of rbi dont explain...
I with full confidence told him all the functions.
then he asked me thank you sagar you may leave now.
I stood up and said thank you for giving this opportunity and left.
During the whole interview i tried to include everyone in the interview.
Now I thank you if you have come so far reading it, I apperciate that you gave me a part of your time reading my experience...I hope you would give an honest review of this interview...
