What I think is rbi is waiting for 10 may as court holidays in Gujarat will begin from 11 may. Now if they declare result the petitioner can go to court and ask for stay. Once the holidays start rbi can complete the process without any fear of stay. But this is just gut feeling. No source. Rather sources are adamant that delay is because of Gujarat case and result will come only after the petition is disposed.
