digi bahi bole toh.do you mean no of applicants.i guess around 1500, cause i rang up SIMS office t find postion of my application as 've not recived Ack and Prospectus......

Looking at various coaching insti and our own digi bahi's

response I guess the Cut off could be anyhere between the range of 58 to 60. So with that .......i say mate giddy up your horses.

kindly try and give a small intro abt yourself too.........:)

Pugys got this info from SIMS brochure..Last years Cut Off foe General Defence:54.5..Overall ie after Gd/PI 222.05.( My guess is that this overall is out of 400 ---your snap scores get doubled and the rest is filled up using GD..PI Work Ex ..ECC and Adac .........kindly remember the break up thing is my guess but the scores are from the SIMS bro)

Hope you get the picture mate............
and for the record Cut off for Special Defence:24.25 and industry spon:40...

I just hope that to be true ... Still i feel i could be 3 or 4 marks short.

Hi All i'm quite new to PG.Just wanted to know one thing..Can only army people apply to SIMS or is it open for civilians too.I know i may sound stupid but have this genuine query..Also i guess the the last date for the forms is extended.
Appreciate any help on this.

Forunately or Unfortunately SIMS is only for Defence Personnel and their dependents........and about 10% seats are reserved for Industry sponsored candidates.

Yup u get it right yar... I am from Palakkad- very close to Coimbatore.. But now settled in Bangalore. Dad's in IAF, soon to retire. 2005 pass out - BE( E&C;).
Now workin for ABB ltd in Bangalore. Into systems & services for industry Automation.

The news i got from SIMS was that more tahn 1500 applications have been sold till now.then where are you "PEOPLE"......................:robot:. i guess the search for human life continues on this thread.......................................................................................................

where r u please post ur score so we get the estimate of cut of according 2 me this time cut of would be around 48 - 50 because last time paper was bit easy this time around 1900+ applicants applied for sims so where r u all people why r u not posting ur score

hi.....venkat and vijay........and other aspirants of SIMS.........have you guys got the SIMS 2007 Admission Brochure? Well i haven't got mine yet.had send it on 2 Jan '07 and i guess today being the 10th i should have recieved it....and no sign of Ack letter too.:wow:
