hey actually i got selected for imi but its pretty tough to get in as 726 students got a call for 108 seats. my cat %ile is 97.25 Is it gonna help.
regarding sims can u all post ur scores.. i ve got 77.3 Does ur score matters at a later stage.
My CAT percentile was an abyssmal low 82 and this was second attempt!!!!:( first attempt 85 when i studied only for a mnth with my thrd year exams! 2003 remembr the LEAKING fiasco...yeah i was a victim....
My snap score's 80.50 not somethng to boast of either....
guys should i go for quotable quotes n all.......and also seniors need help.... can u guys put up volley of questions which u were asked at intrvw and ur GD session topics it ll be a tremendous help.....maybe u can ask othr peers n put in there questns as well......

Just had an emergency question............did any of you receive any e-mail from sims regarding gd/pi and also are we supposed to bring cv/resumes, marksheets etc..........the site sayz that we are supposed to bring the snap admit card........fine but anything else?
Would anyone be kind enuf to answer these questions????

yup i'l sure let u in on the gd topics... my SNAP score was 63. what was yours? this is the only call that i have and desparate to convert it.. anyway the dress code still bothers me.. c'mmom they are supposed to test us on our management skills for which any formal attire should be fine... by the way what are your timings for the GD/PI? mine is from 0815 to 1300 hrs.

So finally the dress code has been mentioned.....i was wondering not seeing it the first time i looged on cz last time it was clearly written in the letter that I received......and ya we were suppsoed to get emails and i believe that we will receive them in a day or two.........

GENTS:- Suit
LADIES:- Saree
NOTE:-
--> Candidates must carry their SNAP ADMIT CARDS. Candidates failing this will not be allowed to sit for GD/PI.
--> Candidates arriving late will not be allowed to sit for GD/PI.
As for the dress code a saree for the female and the suit for the guys is very apt cz it is afterall an instt related with the defence services and they are very particular about the way you carry yourself......so it is an imp part......
and yes,even though its not mentioned anywhere its common sense to carry your resume and your marksheets and certificates all the way from the school till your grad for any interview....and ya pls carry them in a smart folder...........never go to any GD/PI without these...........
and hey btw none in the G-105 group on 3rd Feb in delhi......if there is plss reply..........

which letter are u talking about?
also when i said dress code i meant if ladies could wear western formals like a suit although its not been mentioned..coz its impossible to wear a dress u've not worn before and yet not manage top fumble... imagine fumbling in the interview hall and thats the last thing i want.. i was wondering if i could confirm it from the institute...what was the code till last year?
anyway how r u guys prepring for the GD?

SONOFAGUN!!!!! :nervous: A sareee nahiiiiii what am i gonna do ..... i can barely walk in saree.......damn damn damn....i was gonna wear western formals too or at the very most a suit buttttt they had to jus get a SAREE in the middle huh!

well my logic says we need to carry only snap id on the D day as they already have SIMS form which has scibblings by us
they will have the information about us and question from that only and not going to verify our certificates

be on the safer side and carry all ur certificates(and the attested photocopies of the same) plus the resume irrespective of what the interview board might have... coz hey afterall u dont want be sorry at the last minute right?

a smart folder for certificates ...yes..definitely agree with hannah about attested copies....maybe ur passport foto.......and a resume....yeah.....n its cold in delhi shud i carry a shawl or sweater WAT GOES WITH SAREE???? BOO HOO HOO:(. And to think i'll have to tie it on my own coz i am staying at an aunty's place!!!! (no relatives near there)
