The solution in Arun Sharma is as below
C(9,1) + C(9,2) + C(9,3) +C(9,4) + C(9,5) +C(9,6) ..... C(9,9)
But I have doubt with C(9,1) sich this will form one digit number which according to question should not be considered...
Please suggest.

Here is the expanz for the question u posted :
A started with 20K and then 19K, 18K......14K (7th month) , 15K(8th month), 16K(9th month),.......19K (in 12th month)
B started with 10K and then 11K, 12K.......16K(7th month), 15K(8th month),14K (9th month).........11K(in 12th month)
C started with 25K (4th month), 25K, 25K , 25K , 25K ,25K , ................25K(till 12th month)
So ratio of profits of A:B:C = 204:156:225
= 68 :52:75
Therefore, difference in shares of C & B = (75 - 52) * 117000/(68+52+75) = Rs. 13800
rahul005 SaysScients in NASA were working on breaking a code of mars bound rocket sent by russians.Years of work bore fruit and they realized that the code is a 3 digit no. with different non zero digits A,B and C.They form all the possible 3 digit numbers using all these digits.To save the code they put different numbers so formed into three groups G1,G2 and G3.The sum of the numbers in G1,G2,G3 were found to be 1176,1167 and 321 respectively.Which of the following cannot be any digits of the numbers......a)6 b)1 c)5 d)7...pls do show d entire process.
A+B+C=12...

help me out on alligations....
I got the answer as 20lit...
profit 10% so actual mixture price 10*.75 =7.5 /lit
now using alligation
10 0(taking water as 0/lit)
7.5
7.5 2.5
so 3:1
here 1 ==5
3 ==15
total 20.
