This will needs to be adjusted by the common portions. Now portions common to 2 will adjust one part for every 2 parts adjusted by portions common to three.
So max is given as 66*1 +34*2 = 134
Same way min is 17%.

thousands place cant be 0 so 9
number of ways = 9x10x10x2 =1800

In the question it is not mentioned that digit can be repeated so we must assume that we cannot repeat the digit.
Also,
the numbers using which we need to form 4 digit numbers are 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 and 6.......its not 0-9.....

I guess you mean 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 not 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 and 6
Here, I consider that the numbers can be repeated.
For a number to be divisible by 5, the units digit has to be either 5 or 0.
So, the units digit can be filled in 2 ways.
And, the thousands digit cannot be zero, so, it can be filled in 6 ways.
Rest two places can be filled in 7 ways each.
So, number of four digit numbers divisible by 5 using 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 = 6*7*7*2 = 588.
What's the answer ?

assume the amount of total bronze b 100 units.....then u can equate the tin content of bronze i.e16 unit to the tin content in mixture.....then u can get the amount of mixture and from dat u can get answer..i think its A
