Can seniors please tell what tough topicts will be covered in the course, especially in ISI and IIT (subjects in IIM would be just descriptive and not likely to be tough I guess)?
Do we have to be somewhat ready with quant concepts like calculus, linear & matrix algebra, statistics etc? Are classes in ISI and IIT as rigrous as of their respective core courses?
Also, some basic knowledge of what sorts of programming languages are needed for the projects, practicals, competitions etc?

Dear seniors, as per PGDBA Admission dept, third was final list. Can we (WL) send mail to consider us if any seats get vacant in next 1 week, or if any seats get vaccant? Because , I hope I am on boundary in WL.
Based on mere observation (which may not be accurate) of student profiles and job offers (from Linkedin) I have a few questions regarding this course :
1- Among the major firms which recruited interns, few seem to have made full time offers. why is it so ?
2- Major software firms such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Amazon - which are actively involved in machine learning and advanced analytics - did not seem to have recruited here, even though they recruit from the 3 campuses. Why so?
3- I was expecting companies involved in quantitative finance/HFT (barring Tower Research) to recruit here. But again I do not see that (other than JP Morgan perhaps).
May be some seniors can shed some light on this
what is the frequency of batch intake for this course? Once in 2 years? so next batch to be in 2019... am i correct? Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

Why do I find posts about people leaving he course? Is it not worth enough or something else is at stake here?pl clarify as I am planning to sit for the entrance exam next year.
