Will XLRI conduct GD this yearor it will be like last year only PI?

As per the last communication with the Admissions Office, they are planning to keep a GD round this year. However, this discussion is still in progress and hasn’t been finalized yet. An email will be sent from the AO to your registered email ID as soon the process is confirmed.

Hi, in the question for our XLRI form, 'During the last year, have you done anything to advance your knowledge in any domain? If yes, explain. If not, what could you have done? ’ , is it necessary to talk about MBA related domains? Also, I have done 4 courses on marketing last year. I definitely do not have complete knowledge about marketing. Would it be risky to write marketing? Thank you!

The answer need not necessarily be related to MBA domains. However, it is completely up to the candidates discretion. Any prior knowledge of MBA subjects is not necessary, however, please try to be as thorough as possible with everything that you mention.

Can you please give us an update of what the current scenario is about the XLRI’s notorious ‘Segregation’ rule? Is the administration planning on doing anything. Also, can you please comment on if segregation is a hindrance for collaborating and brainstorming sessions? Are the students okay with this rule? Thank you!

The “segregation” rule only exists in the Jamshedpur campus but is not a hindrance in any manner. There are lots of common areas for all purposes and smooth functioning of all groups and communities.

I filled and submitted the SOP but did not receive any confirmation and upon going to the dashboard, the ‘Upload SOP’ tab is still active.

I am in the final semester of my bachelors degree. In the upload documents section, do I upload the latest semester scorecard in the graduation certificate section? Or should I upload all the semester’s scorecard up till now. Thank you.

Once the update SOP is clicked, the answers can be edited and submitted again (based on what I observed on my dashboard)

I had got a call from XL-HRM and we were supposed to upload the SOP yesterday (11th Feb, 2022) , but due to some unknown errors I couldn’t successfully upload it. I would be thankful if my request of re-uploading the SOP could be considered.
