I am targeting xat 2020/2021 and wanted to know whether xlri takes academics into consideration! Did they do so this year?

My acads are 93 73 70 gem with 19 months of experience at sbi

Have in interest in both Finance and HR. Don't have a background in Finance though(only a single subject in grad and Science background throughout school and college). Converted K recently.

Have done some research and feel like both fields are very interesting , reflect different strengths that I have and are good for my future.

What I want to really understand is, if I take finance, would I be on the backend of placements because of my background as opposed to HR where I will have somewhat of an equal footing?

I invite all opinions in the comments. It would be highly appreciated!

Hi people can someone confirm please why is xlri ncr not releasing the 6th list ? Been 9 days already . Does it mean no more calls and seats will go vacant ?

So XLRI is going ahead with 71 students instead of planned intake 120 in it's 1st BM batch of NCR. Glad that they chose quality of the batch over sliding WL just to fill seats :)

This seems the best group to ask this. I just saw the batch profile of XLRI 2019-21 batch and median percentile of the batch is 99.18. Does anyone before 98-99 even stand a chance? What would be the average percentile like in XLRI HR course?
