Guys. I need some help if anyone is willing. I'm a fresher. Male. General. Non engineer (BA/MA in English). Not so great acads: X/XII/Grad-91.8/74.5/54.5. Could you guys suggest a ball park XAT percentile I would need to stand a chance at getting a call? Also, do acads matter while shortlisting for GDPI?

------Very important post for any waitlisted/converted candidate for MDI--------
Hi guys!
I understand there is a lot of anxiety in all of us regarding the wailist/meritlist/preferences etc. We have mailed AO requesting them to reveal merit ranks asap, and the present Student council is also trying to expedite the process.
Anyone who responded on a previous post(https://www.pagalguy.com/discussions/official-mdi-gurgaon-admissions-2020-22-pagalguy-56659604117521/77883025865226) should have recieved a copy of that mail.
There was a slight issue in the form which caused a bit of confusion. To clear the air I have updated the form and request every waitlisted candidate or IM or HR candidate reading this post to please fill the form and help us in determining an estimate for merit ranks.
Your name and email will not be shared with anyone in any situation. The only purpose is to limit the number of responses each person can send
If you have already submited the form please, try editing your resposnse and check if the preference you entered is correct, especially if your second preference is HR.

My copy of waitlist admission letter got accidently deleted, and now when I am trying to open it from XLRI page it's not getting load. Is anyone else facing this issue. Adcom, please help.

I am a GEM Fresher with acads 9/9/6
Converted SIBM Pune and NMIMS this year. How much does it make sense to repeat a year and re appear for all the Bschool exams and processes?
If things go well, next year I might be in a better position to convert MDI, IIFT, XL, IIT B etc.
If I be extremely lucky I might get a call from IIM C and FMS next year.
Kindly suggest does it make sense to leave SIBM P / NMIMS this year with a hope of MDI, IIFT, IIT B next year? Is the college level too different that I should consider waiting one more year?

To all the guys who have been wait listed. We are only supposed to pay the 50K as the blocking amount, update the payment details on the portal and mail them the proof of payment, right? Asking because after updating the payment details, I was redirected to a acads and certificates upload page. Now when I log in to the portal, the page is nowhere to be found. TIA, All the best!
Guys, I need your opinions and suggestions.
I am a general engineering male fresher.
I have got an on-campus placement of 11 lpa in operations domain.
I gave cat this year(quite casually) and got just below 96 pecentile. Secured 98 percentile in IIFT and bombed XAT.
My profile is as follows:
10th : 10 cgpa
12th: 94.6
Graduation(Tier 1 engineering college): 9.3 C.G.P.A
Obviously, I didn't get any old iims call. But i secured an IIFT call
with just below 98 percentile. Today, I converted IIFT Kolkata in the first list. Apart from that I have converted IIM Ranchi, IMTG and some new IIMs this year.
I tried to hold my horses till the time I receive the waitlist number for Delhi but since it may take some time, I decided to post it anyway.
This query is regarding what should I do if I convert IIFT Delhi (I will not be joining IIFTK).Should I join it or go for a retake??
From self-introspection I believe the reasons for my confusion are:
For joining IIFTD:
1. After seeing that GEM's with high percentiles(99.3+) are not getting a call.
2. CAT being a one day affair and whatif we are not in the best form on D-day.
3.Leverage one year headstart in corporate
For not joining IIFTD:
1. The job which I have is quite alluring.
2. As a fresher I am not certain about my specialisation.
3. If I get a good percentile may be my acads favour me.
These two sides are constantly running in my mind. I am not going to post any poll on this and I also believe that at the end of the day its my decision but I would really appreciate the suggestions from people who have already been there and done that.

How do you guys think the HRM waitlist movement may be affected, given that TISS has delayed the process and coronavirus situation isn't getting any better? (Ik it is very unpredictable, but just looking for opinions)
