MBA-BM PI experience: Was shot 18 technical questions around data science and I was unable to answer 19. Even my hobby seemed dissatisfactory. No GK asked. All those nights studying elephanta caves gone to pits. Not that I would be able to answer that too.
GEF Fresher, 2020 passout, domicile 10th-83.5 12th-74.2 Grad-7.7 cgpa Cat-81.95 Interview (BM)- average Should I wait for results or start prep for cat nxt yr. Its not possible to convert at such a low percentile without work ex right?

Hi Everyone, GEF, Domicile XGMT : 80 CAT: 77 XAT:53 Acad: 83.4/74/8.73 Work experience: 20 months Interview: Average. Was unable to answer a question on sigma and they seemed to pursue that now and then in between the whole interview What are my chances of converting the XIMB call? Or should I start preparing for next year CAT?

YF- where are you from?
Me- born and brought up in delhi,recently shifted to faridabad.
YF- Why did you shift?
Me- We had our own house here,delhi house was on rent.
OF- Do you have a sibling?
Me- No maam ,I am a single child.
OF- How does it feel to be a single child?
Me- I am not very pampered to be honest like other single child usually are ,i m more like a person who gets scolded often.
M- Why do you get scolded?
Me- I have been a notorious child from the beginning ,sometimes scolded ,sometimes even thrashed.

YF- What is the meaning of your name?
Me - It means Good Fortune.
M- How fortunate have you been in terms of getting calls?
Me- to be very honest ,not very fortunate. Got only 2 calls ,one from ximb and other is imt.
M- You worked at amazon why did you leave it?
Me- Sir ,it was a need of the hour , my father met with an accident which had multiple fracture,so i had to accompany him daily.
M- How is he now?
Me- He is fine now sir ,thank you.
M- What was your job role at Amazon?
Me- Told
OF- What does your father do?
Me - He is a businessman
OF- Business of?
Me- Architectural fittings
OF- What is that?
Me- Doors and window fittings.
OF-Where is the outlet?
Me- Hauz khas ,Delhi 6
YF- Wouldn’t it take too long for you and your father to travel daily from faridabad?
Me- Yes maam it takes 2 hours, earlier when we used to stay at Delhi it took only 30 min ,but then what’s need to be done, it’s need to be done,no excuses.

OF- Are your parents okay sending you here at Bhubaneswar,being a single child??
Me- Maam though my parents are very possessive and they dont even leave me alone for long,if you allow me i can share an incidence.
(YF- nodded her head)
When i was at amazon, we had to go to a wedding where i wasn’t allowed more than 5 days but then my parents had a plan of 7 days ,where my father wasn’t ready to leave me alone for 2 days. But then i convinced him and I travelled alone after 2 days . Though when it comes to studies,growth etc, they are fine with going to Bhubaneswar bcz it’s all about career.
(They all smiled)
YF- You are very notorious as well , that’s y they don’t leave you alone.
Me- Yes maam,well if I’ll tell you some of my stories,you’ll will probably laugh.
(They all looked at one another and again smiled)
YF- But your father must be very proud that you managed?
Me- Yes ma’am he is proud and he knows that i can manage, it’s just that he is very possessive.
OF- Your hairstyle is very unique,we don’t see such hairstyles at Bhubaneswar. Did you cut your hair on your own?
Me- Thank you maam. Yes i cut my hair on my own.
YF- You look very different from the pic here in your form.
Me- Thanks to Covid-19 and the lockdown bcz of which i had to grow my hair and then eventually i fell in love with my hair and i had a pony as well. But then bcz i had an interview and i had to be presentable,i had to cut my hair short.

What is the ximb (BM) individual (exam score, acads, work ex , pi, etc...) weightage for final selection? Any idea anyone.
