Hey guys, I had a few queries regarding the registration process and hostel allocation
1. Is there a particular format and/or number of tests/medical checkups that is required by the university w.r.t. "Medical Fitness Certificate"
2. How back-dated can the certificate be ? i.e. The revised date of registration is 27th July 2020 and will a certificate issued in June 2020 be acceptabe at the time of registration
3. Medical information are sensitive in nature, can I take the liberty in assuming that these records will be kept confidential within the Administration of the University and be used only in times of emergency
4. Hostel allocation - I was advised to pay the fees for 'Single Occupancy Room' for getting an allocation for the single occupancy room. Could you tell me when will the hostel allocation process be initiated? (I had paid the entire fees by 04th May 2020). I haven't recieved any information regarding this
5. Is it viable to assume that the official WhatsApp groups for MBF will be formed on or after 08th June 2020

Hey guys, I had a few queries regarding the registration process and hostel allocation since I am Non Domicile
1. It is mentioned that 27th July is Registration day - Is it online or physical presence is needed.
2. If it is attending physically , I must point out that Odisha has a 14 day home quarantine for any one coming into the state.
3. Hostel allocation - You mentioned that it would be done randomly and on that day , so how does that make any sense for people who are traveling from outside Odisha .
4. If that is the case then do we have to fly-in 14 days in advance, bear the hotel costs ourselves or will we allowed to stay in the hostel temporarily. I also emphasize the importance of this point because flights are uncertain and ticket costs are quite high.
5. Considering the ever rising cases and latest predicitions indicating decline in cases only in mid JULY , the quarantine rules are not about to change. Keeping this in mind please help us out and inform the management of this concern.

By when can we expect waitlist movement?
Since it's June 1, can we expect the official ...... groups anytime soon?
Hello guys, I've heard that there'll not be attendance compensation for attending placements, and that lot of politics involved for placements by place com. I've heard some extreme cases, like sleeping in favour of placement. It's frightening, please clarify someone. If this is how the college is, I cannot fit in there.
I had paid 50k as part of waitlist. How can I withdraw my interest and apply for refund?

Adcom can you please help. Session will start from August and every company has an average of 3 month's notice period policy. This is June. so suppose if one drops a notice now it will drag till August middle or August end. So if someone is technically gettiong relieved from the company on say 29th August and the academic session at XIMB starts on 1st August will that create problems during document verification in October? Or will it create problem during placements?
I am considering that student can make oneself physically available in campus for the full month of August(making some arrangement with manager or so). But the official date of resignation from company will be 29th August.

Just a query if the non domicile students have to stay in quarantine for 14 days once reaching Bhubaneswar? And will the registration be done at college physically or online. Request adcom to please update on both of these questions. Thanks
