In case college pushes for online classes after taking my money, what would be the process and constraints for availing refunds. Please understand my hesitation to pay 20 lakhs+ for distance learning course from XIMB.
Incase college is willing to give a substantial discount for each month of online classes (instead of offline classes), please throw light on that.

The world is facing a very difficult time due to COVID-19 pandemic. All businesses are looking at losses and many are bracing for bankruptcy, except the education sector.
Institutions are selling hope that the economy will rebound in 18-24 months (fingers crossed there). They are using the opportunity of extremely high unemployment to defer from sharing any losses due to uncertainty in the future. Instead, they will be making more money as, if classes go online, they will save a huge amount of money in infrastructure maintenance and development.
I’m an MBA aspirant for 2020-22. When I prepared for entrance exams and filled admission forms, college infrastructure, peer learning, pedagogy were extremely important criteria for my MBA.
My request to all the institutions is to clear the air on their stand on taking advantage of such a crisis. Please give details on their fee structure if classes go online. Are colleges willing to compensate students for substandard learning if classes happen online? What options will be available to withdraw the application and get a refund if classes go online and students prefer to wait another year or more to get full-fledged MBA experience? Would we be compensated for each month of online classes we would be forced to attend instead of a regular classroom? If classes go online, there won’t be much difference between regular full-time classroom programs and distance learning programs.
