Anyone has previous year academic calender for mba-bm?
Hi Adcom, can you please tell us about the hostels for BM? Things like wifi, washrooms, etc. Also, the mail said students will have to bring their own mattress too. Is this true? How can we arrange one there?

I hope my last post was able to clear out few queries. I am going to address a few more here, so buckle up! (Read all of it, carefully)
1. Mess charges: They vary from person to person. On the website, we have mentioned that your food will cost you an approximate Rs.5,000 per month. However, it will be more or less depending from person to person. Unlike other institutes, we do not charge you for mess food for the whole year. There a specific number of meals that are compulsory to be availed every month, but apart from that, it's all upto you.
2. Financial Help: This query was addressed in the last post, please do not repeat questions. We are trying our best to connect to our partners and provide you with an offer as soon as possible.
3. Refund Policy: Everything regarding the refund policy is mentioned in the email. Please read them carefully, emails are going to be an important part of your life in a B-School.
4. Hostel Rooms: After you choose your preference, hostels are alloted on random basis. In 2nd year, you are allowed to choose your hostel and room depending on the availability.
5. Anti-Ragging Certificate: A detailed mail will be sent addressing this issue which will included the procedure. I would request you to please wait for it.
Note: It is a request to not posts such queries here the answers to which can easily be found by a basic google search. Spamming this group will only make it difficult for us to address crucial queries.

It goes without saying that you have to text first and not call them straight away as they are busy with there internships as well. I hope you will empathise.

hello guys. I have converted both BM and HRM of XIMB. In addition I have calls from TAPMI, GIM, KJ SOMAIYA, FORE, IMI and IMT DCP.I have 2 yrs workex and r8 now have resigned. Also I didn't put in any serious efforts this year and gave entrances without giving any practice mocks. Please help me decide on basis of following options
- Join XIMB BM
- Join XIMB HRM
- Join GIM PGDM
- Drop and attempt again this year

Hello Candidates!
A new query has been emerging recently which I believe requires immediate attention. It has come to our notice that people are unaware of the electives system of XIMB-BM. Allow me to help you out.
XIMB-BM offers electives majorly in 5 fields:
1. Marketing
2. Strategy
3. Finance
4. Operations
5. Systems
We also offer a few electives which do not fall in any of these categories. But, they will contribute only towards your learning and not be a deciding factor in the field you major in.
As XIMB does not offer a PGDM, and offers an MBA, you have a variety of options. You can do a dual-major or even a triple-major. You can even choose to do a major and minor (For example, Major in Marketing and Minor in Finance). It depends on the electives you choose to pursue in your 2nd year. You can also do a double-major in one field itself, which requires you to take majority of your subjects in the same field.
For further queries regarding electives, please contact your mentors. Make sure you mail/text them first and ask for a time when they will be free to talk as currently the batch of 2019-21 is in the middle of our internships.
I paid the first installment of 2 Lakhs via xub portal, however, didn't get any option to choose/select hostel room priority. May I know at which stage we'll be asked for the same?
