I work in BHEL as a contract executive.  Work ex : 67 months

10th: 95.2%, 12th: 92.4%, B.Tech: 8.48/10, GMAT Score: 680 (IR=5)

Hi.. Would anyone know if IIM-B has any course or direction towards Public Sector?

I had two questions : 


1. I have uploaded my Official GMAT Score Sheet in the application for IIM-B. Do I still need to send it via GMAC?


2. I see there is a section for Extra Curricular activities and achievements. Each has word limit of 1000 words. 

 - Do these section also hold equal value as SOP/Recommendations?

 - Can we enter details from our college activities. Don't have much extra curricular outside college.


Please let me know.

One of my referee tells me that he is too caught up with office stuff and he thinks he wont be able to send it by 31st August.


My question is whether 31st August is the deadline for app submission or even for the referres to submit their reco?

I have a GMAT score of 720 but a very low IR score . The application form has kept the IR field as optional . Just wanted to know if a low IR score lower the chances of getting into IIMB EPGP ?

I have successfully submitted my  application and received the mail as well. I have also received the  confirmation from IIM B via mail that my referees have submitted their referrals.  When I am going to preview my application it shows a red cross that  indicates that referrals have not been submitted.

Please help me out.

Hey guys, now that we have already submitted our applications, there's not much we can do with the apps and scores. I guess we will just have to let IIMB do the job of short listing. In the meantime, why don't we discuss about the interview prep?
