How tough is it for a guy with 4.5-5 years workex to compete with guys having average workex in the range of 7-8 years during placements (especially in Operations) @EPGP_IIMB and maybe some previous students with workex in the bracket of 5 years can throw some light on this.

I've a couple of questions. Do correct me if I'm missing anything glaringly obvious
1. There is no need to upload a Resume right? Just a SOP should be sufficient?
2. Also just one section in the 'Work Experience' per employer/organization? Changes in designation, salary, geography, responsibilities at the same employer should all be crammed in just one section?
I have a query, will like someone from IIM-B to reply.
I applied in R1 for EPGP and was not short-listed for the Interview. But today, I received a mail from IIM-B, asking me to again apply for R2. Does this mean, a candidate can apply even in R2 if he/she is rejected in R1? Or was my profile not considered in R1 and now the college wants me to apply again in R2, if I pay the application Fee second time around?
Is there any toastmaster's club in IIM B where EPGP students can join?

@EPGP_IIMB Could you please elaborate on the independent study or comprehensive project program. What kind of projects do we get in these programs and what are its learning objectives, How is it viewed at the time of placements for e.g. is it valued by consulting firms?

hi .. I have a query regarding the proof of work experience. It is mentioned that as a proof I need to submit my first and last salary slip. But I don't have my first salary slip. Can I attach my joining letter and the latest salary slip? Would really appreciate a fast response.
How big is the recommendation form ? Does it have lot of detailed questions ? One of my referee filled it within 10 mins of sending the link and the second one did only after a week 😃

The list of electives mentioned in latest placement brochure is different from the electives mentioned at http://www.iimb.ernet.in/node/5895. So which one should be deemed correct. ?
