Hi. I have just above 2 years of work experience in 2 different industries ( Research n Development- Core Mechanical Engineering Company & Data Analytics and Sales and Marketing Strategy - Global Consulting MNC). Also I have recently given my GMAT and have scored a 690 on it. I was looking at applying to the MGB course. Before applying I had a few questions :
1) Is it compulsory to choose a specialization before applying?if one is confused about what to choose what can be done? Could 1 change his/ her specialization once admitted to the program?
2) Does the course encourage entrepreneurship? Are candidates with an immediate goal of starting their own enterprise upon graduation encouraged to apply and are they accepted?
I'm really concerned about the credibility of the MGB programme relative to MBA. What stature companies come down for recruitment for MGB?
What are the actual pay packages, if you could please give an insight of the recently placed students.
Another thing, i would be having a work experience of 2 years by Sept'15. Should i just go with the MBG programme or give it time and try to target the MBA course?

Going for Gmat so as to be eligible to get admission in foreign universities, is that a good idea for a fresh graduate with 0 work experience??? Are there any good colleges which do not require any work experience?
I jus attended the SP Jain interactive session with alumni and Placement coordinating team in Mumbai on 31 Oct. From the interaction I could understand that there is good placement support, however, the ability to convert an opportunity to a job wrests with the student. I take the liberty to speak for all GMBA aspirants that if one does not have the appetite to absorb some risks for an career upgrade is better advised to continue wherever one is and give up all aspirations for success, as success is assured only for those who are prepared to ride the wave. BTW I am going to pursue the GMBA program in SCM commencing May 15.
