@priya1989 u got selected???
Please tell me how the course is total actual expenditure and the real placement stats, if u have any idea about any of those
@ank_gupta0203 A couple of my friends are doing the MGB course in the twin city model and even theirs is the first batch. So noone really knows what the placement scene is. I've heard the approximate package you can expect is around 12L INR.
The total expenditure for 16 months may come upto around 30L
The total expenditure for 16 months may come upto around 30L
@priya1989 I am really concerned about the ROI on this prog especially if the funding is by loan. The current batch is yet not placed and the average package is also not worth the investment. Really confused!! plus wat are the chances of getting placed in singapore thru this prog.. the effort to take decision is drivin me nuts....
@PoojaMansh I swear!!! Well I guess getting placed won't be such an issue. You may get absorbed into the company you do your internship with. But you're right about the ROI and loan bit. And they aren't really giving a clear idea about the course n what to expect. And we have to book the seat by 8th March! Hardly any time to decide! 😞 And there's absolutely noone who can help with this as we're gonna be the first batch. The authorites seem quite positive about it though
@ank_gupta0203 Initially it won't be...it'll be almost half the investment. But when you get some work ex and switch to another company, this degree will leverage your chances of getting higher pay I guess. This is what I've gathered from people. I'm as confused as you guys. I don't know whether its worth the risk, at the same time, seems like a good opportunity
@priya1989 yes, we need to reply back by 8 mar .even I am willing to defer it for september, May being too early. Do u have ne idea if we have to pay the advance fees by 8 even in d case v differ our offer ?
@priya1989 OK means if i get my offer get deferred till september than also i need to submit 2500$, than it makes pretty sure that we r goin to pursue this course, than y to shift to september, better that we go in may
I wanted time to write Toefl or Ielts
Hmmm now thts a different issue itself!!

hi! Your application will move up only if you are meeting all our parameters including having a valid aptitude test score. Since both your scores donot meet our cut off mark your application may have been kept on a waitlist. Our cut off for GMAt is 650.
@ganie10 said:@rutty_bharucha can you please let us know when the gmba evaluation results for evaluations done on 23rd & 24th feb ll be our
hi! Students who have been made an offer have been informed over email. The status of waitlists and regrets will be updated on our website soon.
@abhiEnigma007 said:rutty_bharucha : Thanks for ur reply.SPJAT wont be possible for me as I am based out of mumbai... i missed the Feb dates... If Australia visa is rejected... then that would be a risk factor for us... an uncertainty of going ahead with GMBA? Also, if u cud gv an idea whether it is usually rejected or if all is fine... it is generally accepted? Need ur advice...
hi! we certainly cannot commit anything about your Australia visa becasue they have their parameters for granting the same. However, we try our best to ensure that our students meet the required parameters. For our last intake, we did not have any Visa rejects
@priya1989 said:@rutty_bharucha Will I need to take TOEFL or IELTS for the Australian visa?
hi! Both are accepted. You can take either IELTS/TOEFL, wherever you get an earlier date.
@gbids said:@rutty_bharucha hi, i m planning to apply for the sept intake.. my gmat score is 680. wud i require to appear for SPJAT or this gmat score will suffice?
hi! Our cut off for GMAT is 650, so your score should be fine.
@deekshaaneja said:Hi,I appeared for evaluations on 24/02/2012.I had a really bad experience with the authorities.I have mailed them and I am pasting it out here so that others are aware of what these people actually do.Read this mail-I am writing this mail to bring to your notice the kind of painful and frustrating experience I have gone through while I appeared for GMBA program evaluations.I had clearly mentioned my profile that my major experience has been into Trading domain. However,I opted for CMM because I wanted to learn marketing. These things were clear and straightforward in my application. Then I paid USD for evaluation process (which I later found out was a mere formality from the side of administration).I was asked only 4 questions in my interview which I still remember and can narrate out if required. The only criteria for my rejection in GMBA was that I had a completely different background. I suppose they didn't find it all of a sudden!I was called again and MGB was recommended. And it was not only once but thrice that they tried to put me in MGB Program.Their forcing for MGB clearly indicates that motto of calling me for evaluations round was only to put me into MGB somehow.I booked the tiickets which costed me more than INR 9000.Moreover I paid money for your cash cow(so called evaluations).I did this only because I wanted to learn CMM. I can't find any reason for their calling me and then recommending MGB there.I had cancelled my plans to take one day to and fro trip only to get your kind sugessions! Moreover, in my case, since evaluations were not done at all,I need my money back and I am ready to sue anybody for that.Truly speaking I have never experienced such unprofessional, money minded , fraudulent and careless attitude anywhere. Please stop harassing others in the name of evaluations. Before you ignore this application,I would like to clear out that I have a public voice and I will post my reviews on every public forum.
hi! , We do consider cases where students wish to change their background, infact we have students on our batch coming from backgrounds different from the specialisation they have opted for but in all these cases the interviewers look at the motivation behind the student's decision to change their career before making them an offer. Such a student is called for an evaluation to see how much interest and knowledge the student has of the new subect and whether or not the student will be able to cope with the subject and succeed on the program. Only then do we make an offer .
For GMBA, we need the candidate to have a minimum of 3 years work experience, however in some cases we have also called candidates who fall short of this 3 year mark by a few months, as in your case , to see and judge the quality of work handled. If the interviewers are still not convinced we then recommend them the MGB program. MGB is never recommended to candidates with more than 3 years experience.
Our admission procedure is fair and transparent and all decisions are taken by the Admissions Committee only after careful consideration
@sumianand123 said:@rutty_bharucha I had my GMBA evaluation on 24th feb'13 but I have not turned up for personal interview i.e. they said you are done for the day after my panel interview. So could you please tell me is there any hope for personal interview, if not then what will be next procedure to follow? Panel interview alone criteria for admitting to GMBA or they took my profile also into count?I got selected for evaluation via my SPJAT score (10 feb'13) and applied for MAY'13 intake.Regards,SumitApplication No. 90415-IBWM
hi! We actually have an elimination after the Panel round based on your performance in the earlier 2 rounds . Only students who clear from here make it for the Personal Interview round.
