[OFFICIAL] SP Jain School of Global Management (SPJSGM) | Dubai, Singapore, Sydney: MGB & Global MBA - Admissions 2024-26

@rutty_bharucha : Hi Rutty, I intend to apply for SP Jain Global MBA for May intake, but while browsing the SPJain's site its written that the candidate has to appear personally at one of the centers for personal evaluation, but I am based in US and cant appear for it personally. Does SPJain conducts any Skype/Telephonic interviews for overseas candidates?

Sorry if this question has been asked before but I couldn't go back and read 400 pages.

Thanks for you help !

@ravstime : havnt scheduled the interview yet. am from chennai, wru from ?
@rutty_bharucha Hi,
1. Can you please tell what is the actual total cost of SPJain GMBA in INR (approx.)? I mean considering fees, airfares, meals at 3 cities, all other misc. expenditures.

I read in one earlier post that the total cost of GMBA comes out to be arnd Rs. 30 Lacs. Can we consider this estimation as the maximum figure, considering normal lifestyle in all the 3 cities?

2. Further, can you please tell, if in case a candidate is selected, how much time does one get to pay the registration fee and the whole fee? On GMBA's website, its written that the last date to pay all monies is 28.02.2013. Does this mean that we can pay even registration fee till 28.02.2013 or this date is last date for Tuition fee?

I hope I am not bothering you with these questions.
Thanks in advance.

Very valid point raised.....cost of GMBA is approx 30 lac now...taking plcmnt into account is it any where worth to do.......big question ...investment of 30 lac is huge ...it can only be proved worth it if you get good opportunity in singapore.....getting job in india itself and also at not very good package.....will lead us to rethink on our decision on GMBA..........i hope it doesn't prove out to be "paid overseas holidays"....
Education is what you make of it. If you intend making a good career post the GMBA you will find the right opportunities here. We have seven multinational career services offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Dubai, Singapore, Shanghai, and (operational soon) Sydney. Students can have a locational preference, though we don't assure but we do try our best to give placement options to students based on their preference. Suggest that you go through our placements statistics on http://spjain.org/gmba/placements-of-the-global-mba.asp, this link also has the list of recruiters

I spoke to few guys who graduated from Sp Jain , as per them getting placement in Singapore/Dubai is tuf . Almost all of 'em got job in India only , esp in service based companies .package wise its not very different from others with same job profile without a MBA degree , its normally ranges from 12-15 Again it depends on years of experience , i have 5 years of experience , so doubtful if i should join SP Jain as it may be possible after i come bk to India i 'll get the same package Moreover almost all the students are Indian only , so diversity wise not that great .Any idea why Sp Jain introduced this tri city thing ?? what the advantage of going to Australia ? If we get placement in Australia then it will be great
hi! suggest that you go through the list of recruiters which is there along with our placement statistics on http://spjain.org/gmba/placements-of-the-global-mba.asp, this will give you the list of companies that have recruited from SPJain.
The tri-city model is a unique concept designed to expose students to varied cultures, meet with different companies, study different success stories, and network with people from three world-class cities: Dubai, Singapore and Sydney. Leaving the shores of one's home country to explore the world beyond not only broadens one's horizons, but helps one build the global business acumen that today's challenging marketplace demands.

@rutty_bharucha can u plz tell me how to apply for mba ? n do i have to give TOEFL or only cat marks is sufficient..
Hi! We evaluate a potential candidate overall, on several factors. These are: good GMAT, CAT or SP Jain aptitude test scores, good academic record, relevant work experience (min. 3 years), exhibited leadership qualities, analytical abilities, communication skills and other personality traits. You can apply online for the program on http://spjain.org/gmba/apply_online.asp. You need to take the IELTS/TOEFL but we need this for your Australia Visa so you can give this later.

@rutty_bharucha When will the interview calls be given? Has anyone got calls for 15th Dec?Do all the Indians have to give IELTS/TOEFL? Cant it be waived off if we have done our graduation in English ?I have read in your earlier posts that w can give IELTS/TOEFL after we are selected in the course. Can you please tell i how many days after the evaluations, the final results are out and after that how much do we have to submit the IELTS score?
Hi! We mainly need the IELTS/TOEFL to apply for your australia visa, so you can take the test later . The evaluation schedule for May 2013 intake is given on http://www.spjain.org/SPJAT-and-Evaluations%20schedule.asp, you get the outcome within 10 days from the date of evaluation. Pls note here that admissions are on a rolling basis so we recommend students to apply at the earliest.

hi! If you have cleared the aptitude test and also all other parameters you would have received a call to register for the evaluations on Dec 16th .
If you are applying for the scholarship with your SPJAt score as one of the parameters you need to mention that in your application, we will collate the score and forward it to the scholarship committee.

Can anyone tell, how much time does it actually take to reach SPJ from Airport? On google maps, the time is shown as 16 mins. Is this the actual time?
hi! If you arriving during peak hours, it may take you longer. If you plan to select a slot based on this then suggest that you keep a gap of atleast 30-40 min,

Hi! If you are applying from US, you will need to first apply for the program giving your present location as your address for correspondence. If your application gets shortlisted, you will be called to take the evaluation. You can even do this over skype.
@rutty_bharucha Kindly reply to my post no 9636. Thanks in advance.

Hi! Yes, it is true that we mainly have Asian students but the purpose of conducting the program in 3 different countries is for students to study first-hand about diverse business practices and cultures. In addition to the political, social, and economic benefits of studying in these cities, locating the program in influential regional hubs helps students broaden their horizons and think innovatively and beyond boundaries.

Hi!
We need the candidate to have a minimum of 3 years work experience by the start of the program which means if you complete 3 years by December'13, you can apply for Dec'13 intake.
We evaluate a potential candidate overall, on several factors. These are: good GMAT, CAT or SP Jain aptitude test scores, good academic record, relevant work experience (min. 3 years), exhibited leadership qualities, analytical abilities, communication skills and other personality traits. We can consider your academic scores if your application is strong in the other areas.

Hi! The total cost of the program including an estimation of the living expenses is given on http://www.spjain.org/gmba/fee_structure.asp. You need to pay an initial deposit of USD 2500 along with your acceptance which is within 10-15 days from the date of your offer, the remaining fees need to be paid before you apply for the Visa.
