Hi,Do we have to fill the GPA for the subject year (just the 2 semesters) or the cumulative GPA till the year in the GPA field? Please clarify. Thanks !
hi! You need to follow the system followed by your University. If you had a GPA system, you need to enter the GPA for each year separately ie. GPA of the 2 semesters of that year.

hi! Admissions are now open for the April 2013 intake, so if your company is relieving you by April, you can apply now. The aptitude test, evaluation etc can even be done from US.

hi! The website gives you the aptitude test schedule for the April 2013 intake but registrations are open for each test separately. We first had for the Nov test, very soon we will open registrations for the Dec test. If you intend to retake the test you need to register and pay for the test again.
The GMBA program has been running since 2004, what you must have read in one of the earlier posts must be about the Consulting management specialisation. This particular specialisation was started very recently, so we didnot have placement statistics for this particular specialisation earlier.

Hi Rutty,

I have mentioned that I had scored 93.6 %ile in CAT 2011 (results declared in 2012).
Would you suggest that I give SPJAT, or my CAT score is enough?
@rutty_bharucha thanks for replying,

Can you please tell me the average package there as its Fees is very high compare to other b schools, also What is the average number of students who get placed outside india like as in Dubai or singapore??

Looking forward for your reply

@rutty_bharucha Yeah I am going on H1-B Visa so by paying nominal fees, I can get relieved in 15 days of time (Provided they are not ready to sponsor my MBA). Do you suggest me to apply for GMBA.

Also I wanted to apply for Supply Chain and Global Logistics specialization, do you suggest me to apply for the same as my background is IT Operations.

Very valid point raised.....cost of GMBA is approx 30 lac now...taking plcmnt into account is it any where worth to do.......big question ...investment of 30 lac is huge ...it can only be proved worth it if you get good opportunity in singapore.....getting job in india itself and also at not very good package.....will lead us to rethink on our decision on GMBA.....
.....i hope it doesn't prove out to be "paid overseas holidays"....

well said arun 😃

I spoke to few guys who graduated from Sp Jain , as per them getting placement in Singapore/Dubai is tuf . Almost all of 'em got job in India only , esp in service based companies .
package wise its not very different from others with same job profile without a MBA degree , its normally ranges from 12-15
Again it depends on years of experience , i have 5 years of experience , so doubtful if i should join SP Jain as it may be possible after i come bk to India i 'll get the same package :)

Moreover almost all the students are Indian only , so diversity wise not that great .

Any idea why Sp Jain introduced this tri city thing ?? what the advantage of going to Australia ? If we get placement in Australia then it will be great :)

yeah, lack of diversity is the major problem faced by every indian Bschool.even isb and iim's are also not that great in terms of diversity.

and this is what is get from their FAQ section
"Placements are offered not only in Dubai, Singapore and Sydney, but also in India and other countries. In the past, we have had Participants who have been placed in China, Egypt, Senegal and more. However, the focus largely remains in the Middle East, South East Asia and India."

@Neha15885 -- neha can you please explain more about your point being carefull..

Have you passed out from GMBA program, if yes by any chance please help clear all our doubts as we all our very keen to know the placement statistics and which country the maximum placements take place ???

Do only Indian companies come for placements ???
Also whats the use of tri city model if placements takes place only in india ????
AS some one pointed out wont it be like paid holidays if we get placed in India only ????

PLease reply
