@Sukki said: Yep that's exactly what i was thinking that since i'm applying for GMBA it might come later. But, a friend of mine who game SPJAt along with me is applying for MGB but even he hasn't recieved the mail yet. That's why i was worried I hope it doesnt mean rejection.
Well, as i said go on the SP Jain website. He can check his admission status there.
I just got an email informing me that i have met the cut-off limits but i still need to send my applications to be eligible for selection for the evaluation on the 23rd.

@thecivilian1 said:@sportswriter 50% still? and they are going to fill that up on 23'rd?sounds like people are not interested much in MGB
I have a very basic query though. It's 6 months in Dubai, 6 months in Singapore and a 4 month internship. So is the 4 month internship in between the two periods of 6 months or after the 12 months of study?
@karthiksiddavarhi "karthik", sorry about the test attempt...but u are new to pagalguy nd u happen to join this forum and answer my quote in such short notice?
@thecivilian1 said:@sportswriteri'm very much interested,it has global exposure and all but when a college starts to search for students on a coure don't u think the quality of the batch drops, they had a deadline of 31'st august bt now they postponed to 15'th sept, what does that tell u?...and when u are paying 18 lacs sure u have to think about it...i mean what if after the course we end up getting far less than what we thought ,like i was told the avg pkg fr MGB would be around 9-10 lacs, what if end up getting way less than that...and its not about the salary,r u sure that the top firms will come and visit for mgb?but overall i'm interested so lets see.
They are not 'searching' for students. It is a completely new course and with the high fees, there must be even less awareness about it. As the poster below you mentioned, he gave the test four times and has still not got selected, this probably means they are scrutinizing applications closely.
As far as the salaries go, that is something you cannot predict. However, you should remember that SP Jain is a very reputed brand name both in India as well as in Dubai. They have had the GMBA course for a number of years now and it is running successfully. It is not some new organization which has started a college. They are simply introducing a new course. I'm sure, considering their brand name and reputation, they would have done a lot of research and analysed the demand for people like us i.e. with a management degree but limited work experience as their brand name is also on the line. They would not just introduce some course and compromise on placements as this will affect their name big time too. That's what I feel
