[OFFICIAL] SP Jain School of Global Management (SPJSGM) | Dubai, Singapore, Sydney: MGB & Global MBA - Admissions 2024-26

@SahilJ said:Hi, I am working with MNC and have a experience of 2 years (till July 2012). I am confused between MGB and GMBA programs. Should I apply for MGB now or appear for CAT this year or wait for 1 year to get 3 yrs of workex and then apply for GMBA? Also i have a query, what are the future aspects of MGB w.r.t. %age of Placements and its probability & also the average salary! Please let me know the same asap! Thanks in advance!

Hi! You need to decide this based on your career interest, suitability and also based on when you would be in a position to take the break for your studies. Also, only gaining 3 years work experience does not necessarily guarantee an offer for the GMBA program

If you decide on doing the MGB program, on completion and fulfilling the required criteria candidates can transfer to the GMBA program and get an MBA (Global) degree.

Aspirants joining MGB would start at 2 levels junior level (with work experience) and entrant /management trainees for freshers and as per our estimation their average salary should be 2 to 3 times more. Salaries involve various factors like work exp/title /academics/professional achievements etc, also this is our first intake so i am unable to give you factual statistics .Salaries also depends on location and countries taxation policies.

To get a fair idea on the kind of companies that are recruiting our student please visit www.spjain.org/gmba for a better understanding on salary packages and list of companies.

@vid8m said:Hello Rutty, Can you please tell me how many seats are there for MGB program?
Hi! The cohort of the batch is expected to be around 150-200.
@intennsive said:Hi Rutty, I submitted my MGB application on July 10, 2012. I haven't reported scores from any acceptable tests which is why I'll be taking the SPJAT on July 22, 2012. My concern is that according to the website the MGB evaluations were done on July 06, 07 and 08, 2012. Does this mean that my application was not considered? Also, since my test scores are still pending I am not sure I if took the right decision to apply for November intake. My application reference number is 1319- IBWM. Thanks, CP
Hi! we have around 2-3 evaluation rounds for each intake. The evaluations on 6th-8th July were the first one. There will be another round of evaluation to cover students who have applied after this.

Thanks :).

Really appreciate the way you are helping the aspirants.
@Kalcy said: Hi Rutty, I have saved my application for GMBA program, as I was expecting some changes in the Work experience section I did not submit the application till date, but now it seems that its going to take more time to get those details confirmed. I wanted to know if I submit the application now then at a later stage will I be allowed to make any changes in the Work Experience section ? Also need your opinion on this : If I submit the application today, what is turn around time by when you will complete the application screening and intimate me on the eligibility for the SPJAT which is scheduled for 22nd July as I am not sure if there is another round of aptitude test post 22nd July. Thanks
Hi!

Once you submit your application the online form gets locked for any form of editing. If you wish to give us any information in support of your application you may mail that across to us along with your application number. This additional information will be taken at the backend and will be considered while assessing your application

It takes us anywhere between 3 to 20 days to revert on an application, depending upon when and at what stage you have applied.

With 2 years experience is it advisable for me to try for GMBA next year or opt for MGB this year. 3. Will there be lateral placement in my case since I have 2 yrs exp? 4. What will be the degree offered by MGB program and by which university? 5.Also could you provide details regarding food and accommodation? Will Indian food be available? Accommodation provided will be individual or shared? Is the hostel on campus or will we have any travel expenses?
